Location amazing, perfect for city walking, room was ridiculously huge, staff was sweet, bed cozy Housekeeping knocked on my door at 10, but checkout was at 11.

There was no breakfast. Only coffee There wasn’t even an ice machine on each floor. There was only one in the hotel. There was no where inside the facility to get basic needs or food. Only one vending machine in the hotel that sold basic snacks. There was no daily cleaning of the rooms or even emptying the trash.

The AC in the room did not work well and it sounded like someone was shaking marbles in a tin can all night. So frustrating.

We were told, breakfast wasn't served at that location. There were several Hispanic men standing in front of the motel / hotel entrance way drinking alcohol, talking loudly, and eating food with a large ice cooler during the early evening until 10:30 p.m. while guests were trying to check in ;etc. When I checked out this morning, the beer bottles, cigarettes butts, and other trash these Hispanic men had were everywhere. This type of behavior on their part is uncalled for, and staff should have not allowed it because something bad or unexpected could have happened to patrons that were following the rules appropriately.

The staff was very kind. The hotel is old and dingy. The carpet in our room was disgusting (stains). The side outdoor entrance did not work with our card keys. There was old, musty smell throughout. Our door handle was installed improperly so you had to push up instead of down to enter (only found that out after having to have a staff member come to our room because our key would not work). No one made our beds or cleaned our room during our 3 day/2night stay.

It was quiet Older, downtown - although parking was easy and nice. Rooms were small, bed was small.

The hotel was being renovated, but the staff and their service was great. I think when all that work is done, it will be a very nice place to stay.

The overall ambiance was very nice. Only thing I didn’t particularly care for was the WiFi not working both days of my stay or no continental breakfast. Other than that, staff was helpful and friendly and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!

Location an staff I love it (but tvs, carpeting and plumbing) needs modernization.
