The AC in the room did not work well and it sounded like someone was shaking marbles in a tin can all night. So frustrating.
-
The hotel was being renovated, but the staff and their service was great. I think when all that work is done, it will be a very nice place to stay.
-
Disgusting stale cigarette smell, carpet caked with years of use.Stuff ok.We couldn't stay had to leave it was unhealthy
-
Would be nice to have a functional pool
-
The overall ambiance was very nice. Only thing I didn’t particularly care for was the WiFi not working both days of my stay or no continental breakfast. Other than that, staff was helpful and friendly and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!

I’m from Lynchburg born and raised

Nice place with good rooms. Location is good, convenient to several place for food, ect.. No breakfast and only vending on the property itself. Parking is tight, especially for larger vehicles.

Staff was very nice. For the price it is great.

My ac was broken and it electrocuted me
-
I we told appreciate it if the housekeeping staff would not knock on your door before checkout. Sone people do sleep until 1030
-
Highly recommend. It’s an older historical hotel that is currently being renovated. My only critique would be the lack of breakfast offerings, but there are numerous places nearby to eat.
-
It’s one of the best. Staff a location. The property’s not up to date, TVs truly need a make over a new vending machine, drinking out of cans is not what I personally do.
-
Staff an location Parked in parking garage, needs better vending machine an update TVs

Great location. Nice staff!

This hotel claims to be a 3 star establishment. The affordable suites of Lynchburg is only a 2 star hotel and is three times nicer than this place also the wood springs suites is as well if your looking for nicer establishments without breaking the bank. Plus the Air conditioner in my room didn’t work and sounded like a jet engine taking flight and management can’t tell me they didn’t know it wasn’t working considering that massive record breaking heatwave just came through. Overall I highly recommend against this hotel

WiFi wasn’t working, area is not like advertised.

The AC didn’t work in the room. The pool was not available. The front desk staff for check in was absolutely rude. Had to let the water in the shower run for about five minutes before it stopped being brown and the entire hotel smelled like sewage. Both beds in the room were broken.
-
I didn't like it that it has to be a very Steep Hill to go down and then come back up it and also I didn't like it that in order to stay there I have to pay $5 extra to be able to park my vehicle at a location I didn't have to worry about it being told that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen a hotel do

They are in the middle of renovation but the room was clean.
