Really loved the vibe at Pine Cottage. Room was very clean and ours had a great view, comfortable mattress. Guests can relax on the porch chairs and the breakfast was great. Would stay again.

Nice Breakfast!!!

We truly enjoyed the quaintness and cuteness of this place! Be ready for shared bathrooms. Awesome afternoon tea and cookies and breakfast fantastic. Would recommend!

There are some things that I wasn't expecting. We had a "shared bathroom" on the 3rd floor. I wasn't sure what that meant. But what it meant was ONE bathroom for about 4 rooms (I think). If you need to use the bathroom during the night, you need to think ahead! The shower was the biggest issue for me. It was a clawfoot tub with a shower curtain around it. So... it was a matter of balancing enough to get INTO the tub, then the cloth curtain kinda hugs you as you are showering. it's quite a feat to get the temp right, and the curtain right and keep balancing. You might need to use your foot to figure this out! They told us, "you can use the one on the 2nd floor, which was a walk in shower". My husband did that.. He feels like it wasn't an issue. So, I just wanted you to know it was for me! But really, if you know (or choose a room with a private bathroom!) you will be fine.

I loved The Pine Cottage, I would recommend anyone staying here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, it felt like staying at home. The breakfast was delicious and homemade.

Our room was small but adequate and clean. We had our own split unit AC, which kept the room nice and cool. The windows have been upgraded so that they are easy to open and close for that. Nice cool evening breeze. My favorite in keeper was Claire who went out of her way to cook me a gluten-free breakfast every morning despite all of her other responsibilities. We especially love teatime in the evenings. This property is located very convenient to downtown area. We had a great time and we definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Pine Cottage!! The owner checked us in and was very friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and perfect for me and my girlfrend!! They even held our bags for us after we checked out as we explored the island before heading out! Overall, we loved our stay and are happy with everything!

The property is a unique throwback in time with charming decor and wonderful staff. Rooms are small but quaint. We had a private bathroom which we definitely liked. All in all a great experience.

Jaycee was able to change our reservations and switched us to a suite so we could share with my sister. Everyone was awesome

Overall maybe the island isn't for us, but we had significantly higher expectations for value and experience compared to what we got.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Porch was inviting and well-situated. Tea & coffee facilities were most appreciated. Installing an elevator is a must especially for physically-challenged guests. Providing non-sugary cold cereal eg granola as well as plain Greek yoghurt would be preferable. Adding brown bread options for toast would help. The shared bathrooms were ok, but at least offering some rooms with sink and en suite bathrooms would upgrade the experience.

We had a delightful stay and Pine Cottage. Claire made sure we had everything we needed and provided the most delicious breakfasts!

The porters from the ferry will bring your luggage to your room when you arrive on the island and take them to the ferry when you are leaving. Greeted by friendly staff (We had the pleasure of meeting Clair and Cora) at the Pine Cottage. Breakfast is amazing! We ate there 5 of the 6 days we were there. Easy to navigate the stairs as long as you don't have knee issues. The cleaning staff were amazing; unobtrusive and quick! Be sure to come back around 4pm for tea time and those giant cookies! We loved the room with the private bath! Claw foot tub so bring your bubble bath; You won't find any on the island! If you needed anything, just ask. We can't wait to come back!
