Lighthouse View Motel

It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Close to the state park with lighthouse museum and fort michilimackinac within easy walking distance. The free shuttle bus to Sheplers ferry dock was also appreciated.

Very nice little motel. Quiet and close to everything. Firm beds. Nice indoor pool area. Worked perfectly for our launch to Mackinac Island. Wished we would have BYOP (bring your own pillow). Otherwise we will be back.

Room was clean. Would stay again

The staff person at check-in was super helpful and kind. Our room was nicely prepared and clean. We were on the second floor and would ask for a first floor room in the future as lugging luggage up the stairs (in the rain) wasn't fun. The parking area is minimal and we couldn't park by our room. Also noteworthy is there is no outside area to use for eating or outside seating. It was pretty no frills but we would stay there again for cost and convenience.

This property is old but provided updated amenities. Walls are not very well insulated so noise was an issue. The location was across the street from a park and within sight of the Mackinaw Bridge.

The first night we were in this motel we had the NOISIEST neighbors upstairs. I couldn't believe how loud they were just walking back and forth and up and down the stairs right outside our room. I called the front desk to see if we could get a different room on the second story and the next morning we were moved! Absolutely no issues after that. The staff were so friendly and the location was perfect. Definitely recommend!

Check in was easy. She also gave a flyer for area. Gave us advice on how to get a shuttle to ferry. Saving us parking fee.

Our stay was lovely. We were there for 4 nights. Not a huge room but nice big tv and long dresser to put things on. Beds average. Bit stiff but new enough to not have dents. Super nice staff. Bridge right across street and it is a lovely view. Not really view from rooms but second floor can glimpse the park across the street. Super close to downtown and ferry to island will pick up with free shuttle. Parking lot is tight. Room has fridge and microwave. Indoor pool and hot tub are lovely. Shower has a nice showerhead with hand held. I would definitely recommend.

Picked this based on the 9.0 wonderful rating. The room seemed clean but was basic and plain. The exterior of the motel is in need of attention for sure. No breakfast offering of any kind. There is a small desk/office space but has poor lighting and limited outlets. Parking is tight and difficult with a full sized truck. 7.0 good rating would be closer to the truth

Kevin was real helpful and all the staff was helpful really enjoyed our stay there will return the next time I come to Mackinac city

It was just okay.

Old motor lodge that has been updated. Its clean, basic motel. Tight.parking but plenty of it. Pool and hot tub worked as promised. Friendly dog at the desk too!

Great stay and outstanding view of the lake!! Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub!

Easy in-easy out private little independent owned hotel. Easy access and close walking distance to the city. Not super brand new rooms but it was clean and just perfect for the night. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Decent tv channels and bed/pillows. No breakfast and tight parking was the only down side. Besides that 100% perfect for our 1 night get-a-way!
