Best Western Plus Madison-Huntsville Hotel

Our room was musty and had a damp smell. We notified the front desk and we were able to get a better room. The pool had an issue that did not allow us to use it.

Staff was amazing, as was the breakfast and the attached restaurant, Banana Leaves. However, we primarily hose this hotel for the pool. However, it rrmain closed for the entirety of our stay. Staff stated it needed cleaning and maintenance, yet no work seemed to be in progress at all, making me question just how long the pool has been down. Kind of false advertising. Also, the lobby furniture and rugs throughout the hotel were very dirty and stained. Quite off putting.

Property is not clean Exception is BananaLeaves Lovely excellent food and spotless. Staff are wonderful in reataurent.

Smelled like cigarettes on day one even though the were all smoke free rooms

We were very disappointed. The rooms smelled terrible. The floors were moist and even the pillows felt like they were damp. Definitely a condensation issue. The pool wasn’t open. We booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each. When we arrived we were told Expedia booked one of the rooms with 1 bed. The only way we could get what we wanted was to join their loyalty program. We had booked the same facility for our return and immediately cancelled it. Bookers beware.

The room was cleaned, did not have room cleaned by choice had a hard time getting towels from front desk, Staff workers at desk was not nice to the guests. The guy that does the breakfast is the best food was excellent. Will make this hotel my last choice if I had to visit here again.

When I booked my hotel one important thing was that it had transportation from airport to hotel, so I arrived there and after some 20 min waiting for the shuttle I called in the hotel , the answer was that the shuttle was broken that I have to take an Uber

Bathroom tub needed rechacked

Hot tub was messed up couldnt be used as advertised.

This hotel had the oddest layout I have ever seen. I got the idea that maybe the first floor had been updated but definitely not the second floor where we stayed. You had to go down multiple hallways and through multiple doors to get to the room. The room itself was clean but apparently they were short on towels. Our room had a pretty big defect on the wall. The breakfast was good for a free breakfast. With the exception of one lady, the staff was courteous but we will not stay there again.

This my go-to for stays in the Huntsville area. Clean, quiet, any minor issues are adressed immediately. Breakfast is consistent, pretty much the same thing every day, but for a complimentary breakfast it's not bad at all. Good experience all around.

Great place! Will stay again

The breakfast was amazing. Best continental breakfast I have ever had by far. There was great variety to choose from.

Rooms smell need to clean air conditioner

The location was good. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was musty and smelled like wet towels. Had to have housekeeping come and spray every day. The hot tub was roped off and inoperable and the pool did not look clean so we did not swim. Our TV's sound stopped working and tech could not repair or bring another TV in. All they could do is change rooms and that was too inconvenient. The Banana Leaves asian restaurant was attached to the hotel and that was good and convenient. We will not stay there again.
