Best Western East Towne Suites

Besides an unfriendly welcome from the African fella at the front desk, my most major issues with this hotel are the fact that it is extremely outdated. I stayed on the second floor right across from the fitness room. I went in to check out the equipment, the lat pulldown was pretty functional but the bench press was jerry rigged and unsafe. The smell in that room was not of a clean gym. My room was dated, and the mattress was rock hard and thin. Overall, everything was tidy and clean, the best part of the stay for me was the shower, holy pressure and heat! Each floor I am assuming had laundry units and the pool/hot tub seemed nice. Another major concern was the breakfast, the eggs were powder-based eggs (eew!) and tiny black forks that were easily overlooked. And I could not see any covers for the coffee, looked around quite a bit so that sucked too. To be nice, I'd give this place a 3/5 but it is old and needs updating.

Great location Smelled like pot , dirty needles in parking lot. Bathroom bath tub would not drain, mattress on bed looked like a crime scene.

But the bed was good and comfortable. They do not have the door sign to let the housekeeper know. I didn't have one to hold them off for clean the room. The overall, it was just okay.

Short distance from airport, rooms are big and beds comfortable. Pool and hot tub looked like the might have been a great deal of fun! Furniture needs a refresh. Outdoor balcony chairs has been sat it a bit too often. Need a car here - you are in the middle of strip malls (and malls aren't doing well in usa). With car, it is quite central, however. Lots of kids during my stay (cool), but also lots of hallway noise! High cost was due to me having to be here during very busy weekend. Room had a stale musty smell (you can quickly acclimate).

Staff was great, place was clean, pool and hot tub were nice. Great location. Only thing lacking was breakfast. We have had wonderful breakfasts at other hotels but this was adequate at most. Not many choices. Packaged stuff and when things are gone they were not replaced. We asked for a quiet room and it was wonderful. Everything else was great.

Breakfast was blah eggs and hash brown biscuit all cold, should have gone to McDonalds. Bath room shower had no safety handles, the shower control was a puzzle to get temperature adequate. Sink control took a little muscle to turn. Blower sounded like a truck. The bed has a nice depression to cause a backache. This was the second room given to my wife and I, the first on the TV didn't function. At checking in the clerk said there was a $75 charge for damage or something, refundable after checking out. At checkout the $75 charge would be refundable by your bank. No receipt, RUDE clerk and no mention on the Expedia page for Worst Western of this charge. The longest month for one night stay I have ever had. You would have to pay me to stay there.

Condition of the hotel is run down. The breakfast room was dirty, and out of most breakfast items. The napkin holders were even dirty. One person breakfast staff.

Would've been nice to have oatmeal at breakfast
