Holiday Inn Madison at The American Center by IHG

Room floor was horribly stained, shower door wouldn’t close, the shower itself was stained in the cracks, I didn’t want to look too closely at in the corners! I honestly wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

This property it’s old and needs a renovation!! They over charged got my reservation and tried charging 325 a night for this old run down hotel!

Front desk staff Felt bad the nice old hotel seemed run down.

Wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Dinner was good overall. The carpets in the hallways seemed like they were in the middle of being replaced so didn't feel as clean or welcoming as most Holiday Inns feel.

This place could use an upgrade and heavy cleaning. The carpet was terrible.

Free airport shuttle indicated on hotel site does not operate on Sundays and no alternative provided. Breakfast was good with diverse options.

The breakfast wasn’t part of the room service which wasn’t explained very well on the web page. The hall ways could use new carpets . Rooms could have Microwave and the TV could be larger

The hotel’s rooms were clean, but they needed updating. The carpets were threadbare, and the rooms smelled musty.

Curtains dont shut and sun shines in the room in the am.

Staff was friendly.The bartender, Kristi was amazing! It was a very short stay due to early flight but was very convenient to the airport. It’s a little run down but still comfortable

This place is gross. The first room they gave us had mold on the shower walls that were wallpapered and it was run down and smelly. The second room didn’t have obvious mold issues but the drain of the shower was full of hair. The floors were sticky and turned our socks black. The walls were dirty and paint was cracking. The hotel doors both had peep holes you could see in and out of and the walls are paper thin. This is hands down the grossest holiday inn I’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was $15 and did not look fresh so we walked elsewhere because the overall hotel just felt dirty and we didn’t want to eat there.

The room felt dirty. The AC did not work well. The shower was dirty and felt slimy to the touch. Carpet was very dirty and loose.
