Moxy Madison Downtown

We had a great stay, staff and hotel were great. Unfortunately valet team do not know how to drive a manual transmission, so had to park myself but still charged the full parking fee. If they can't park your car, they should give a discount.

Great hotel and very dog friendly!

We had an absolute blast at the Moxy! Between the hotel bar, rooftop restaurant, and the funky themes—this place is all about the fun. We can’t wait to return!

Great place in the middle of things downtown.

If you have an event at The Tin Smith it’s a perfect location. It’s right across from Breese Stevens. Tried to book for a summer concert but the rate tripled so I had to pass. Minimalist environment but that’s all we needed. Friendly staff.

Smaller room but very nice modern design with everything you really need. Younger vibe to the property. The music in the common spaces and elevators felt clubby, but it was not offensive. Would highly recommend.

The location of the Moxy in Madison can’t be beat. We walked just about everywhere and found lots of restaurants to enjoy nearby. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the lounge area is lively and festive. Two things I did not like—the rooms are small, lacking space even for a chair, and there’s no coffee maker in the room. Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby, however, along with fruit such as bananas, apples, and oranges.

We love the industrial vibe at The Moxy (have stayed at others) and really like the downstairs bar atmosphere. Drinks and food are great! Very clean room, super comfortable bed, love the bathroom—nice and large with a great shower. There is a serious need for drawers in the room; only one under each bed and one nightstand drawer isn’t enough. Plus, there needs to be more hangars as four is definitely not enough for two people. Also, there was only one suitcase stand, so without drawers or enough hangars, one of us had to keep a suitcase on the floor. No chairs in room so nowhere to sit except the bed… there’s plenty of room so a couple chairs would be nice. Otherwise, loved being there.

Fantastic! We stayed for 2 nights and central location…. Walkable to pretty much anywhere. Would stay again!

When I arrived at the hotel, I gave my name and a credit card for room incidentals. No information about the hotel was provided after being given my key. When checked out I was presented room charges and thought it would be rectified within a few days. The double charge by the Moxy appeared on my monthly statement at a lower rate, which have not been addressed. Plus, the valet parking is not associated with the hotel, and I was charged double the rate presented via text at the time I entered my credit card. The process of getting the car out was not as simple as other hotels because it's a separate hotel service.

Great stay

Very clean hotel, lower cost than those nearby due to small rooms and fewer in room amenities, no fridge, microwave, safe, etc. Noise from hallways came right through doors, and music from event two floors up could be heard. Overall, nice & clean, comfy bed, but not without its shortcomings

The room was very small with no microwave,fridge unit or sitting area/furniture. Staff was very friendly and it was very clean.
