Room was clean and staff was great. Bathroom could have used a little updates specifically the shower but otherwise very clean

The staff were very professional and cordial. The room was prepared for us early and the pool was clean and refreshing. The location is at the far end of a road adjacent to the dump.

The price was cheap which helped. This is an extended stay motel and seemed to house some questionable folks. Its also right next to anhuge landfill. The room seemed clean.

Clean room

Stayed at hotel due to pool. All communication has reference to pool being open. When I arrived hoping to sit by the pool I was told the pool is closed due to safety concerns. Even the follow up email from Valued Stay Madison referenced their open pool. Very disappointing.

We should have left as soon as we saw the location and conditions of the building.

Clean room, great staff, good breakfast.

Smell of cleaners in room was strong and unpleasant. Could see mop swirls on the floor. The breakfast was not great and one in party had some mild digestive issues afterwards. Seemed more like a truckers motel, not as comfortable as was hoped.

Not so good: -Everything is pretty run down/old. -The bed in one of our rooms was so broken in, your head was lower than your feet if you slept a “normal” way. -The pillows felt like balled up t-shirts shoved in a pillow case. -The shower head was so low, they may have been set up for children. I am 5’6” and they were set up to hit my neck. -The air conditioner in one of our rooms did not function. It blew very little air, and did not cool the room. The air conditioner in the other room sounded like a motorcycle taking off when it turned on. -The fridges in our rooms were left unplugged. We did not plug them in to see if they worked. -Plumbing was not great. In one room, the sink drained exceptionally slowly. In the other, you had to hold the handle for 15 seconds to flush completely. -The side door to the building did not have a functioning lock on it, so anyone could access this section of the building. -Parking was limited. -One of us came home with bug bites on their thighs… we are not sure what it was from, but we did not spend time outdoors. Not a positive or negative, but just awareness- the keys to your room are actually physical keys, not cards.

We called Friday and Saturday to cancel the room with no answer or call back very poor communication and place was not pet friendly what a waist of time to book had to find a pet friendlyspotfor us to stay even after leaving multiplevoice mails no return calls or txt messages back

Look for $40 a night. I am definitely not complaining. It was clean, had a hair dryer, a fridge, and a comfortable bed. No coffee in room, next to a dump, at the end of a dead end

Room was small. Ice machine dispensed dirty ice. Bed creaks every time you get in or out. Bathroom shower is very small for a man. The breakfast offerings were a pleasant surprise and very good. Very few places offer a hot breakfast. The front desk woman was pleasant and efficient.

I didn't stay at this hotel because as soon as I drove up, they had had 3 kids out there smoking and they started whistling at me and they looked like hoodlums. The place was extremely trashy from the outside and way off the beating path. If I had known that I would have never booked it online. I went inside and told the lady that I wouldn't be staying because of the vibe I received and asked for a refund, and she said that it wasn't possible so, I told her that I would just cancel it with my card.
