It is next to a refuse dump and is very dated. The make your own omelet station was pretty cool

This hotel sucks! They have a pool, and that's really it. The location is not really that far from Downtown Madison, but its not really in a good location. It's at the end of a road with no outlet so getting to/from the hotel is a bit of a hassle. The rooms are tiny, king size bed was decent sleep. The WiFi isn't great and the TV is tiny so watching from the bed is not a great experience. There is no workout room, which the 'amenities' section said there was. The breakfast was a big let down. I wasn't expecting anything super fancy obviously but there was just nothing available when I came down. The lady told me it starts at 730am, I came down at 730am and most of the food was gone. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, all basically gone. There's a small omelet station so that was at least decent, and some cold fruits to pick from was nice. Overall, I would avoid this place. You're better off spending an extra 20-30 dollars per night to find a different hotel.

Pool and room was clean. The bed was comfortable and lots of fluffy pillows. I saw zero dirt anywhere despite this hotel being a favourite with people who work for a living. Breakfast was quite good for a continental with fresh waffles and eggs.

Check in was easy. Staff was friendly and available. Close to casino. Pool was clean. Breakfast was decent for a motel.

Please be aware do not book this motel on Photos alone when you get there it looks nothing like any of that. It is rundown weeds growing everywhere. The outside of the building paint is falling off. The curtains in the window are absolutely disgusting and upon asking for our money back, they refused very deceitful dishonest. The facia soft is all falling off the building. You can’t even see the pool due to the weeds stay far away from this place.

The wifi was terrible- and that was the only way travel plans were made the next day- tub dripped and walls are thin- However!, the experience of location and history was delightful

There was literally nothing good about this place. I checked in with my 5 year old and my 4year old nephew and checked out an hour later. There was absolutely no way I was staying there with two children. Where to even begin, very run down. The room looked “okay” at a glance, but the more time you spent in it the worse it got. When I opened the shower door it smelled like a mouse or something died in there and was left to decay. Then taking my kids outside to let my sister and brother in and there were people sitting on the sidewalk pointing and purposely making us feel uncomfortable. When we get back into the room there was a sign on one of the doors saying for your safety to initiate all three locks on the doors. We checked out an hour after checking in and lost the money we paid because of the non refundable rates. But no way was I keeping small children there.

Place was okay, not as nice as the photos. Room was fine, I did find random hairs on the bed and in the bathroom from the previous person staying there which was a little gross. The women who checked me in was very sweet. I got to the breakfast right at 7am the eggs were gone and the gravy was cold.

We stayed here after a concert. We live two hours away. I could not find the place on my maps or Google and when I called the very rude woman who answered the phone kept trying to give me directions as if I lived out here. They were extremely disrespectful. Then when we arrived, we realized that you could just walk in. There’s no locked doors. Anybody could just walk into that hotel at any time. I asked them about that and their response was well. You know the doors are locked to your room that made me feel horrible. I was terrified all night when I got into the room. It was disgusting. Nobody has cleaned any corner for a very long time. I found pubic hair on the bed. There was poop on the wall in the bathroom. It smelled like crap. The bed was caved in in the middle. I found it incredibly disgusting and I’m no high maintenance person. I wouldn’t stay here again. If you paid me, I urge you if your family or a decent person that likes to sleep without pubes to not even give this place a chance I would love my money back, but it’s not even worth asking.

Clean and comfortable Out of the way

Ac did not work, stains everywhere, dead bugs in the room, people yelling all night, no staff at the property booked for three nights left after the first night would have left sooner but it was late and I was exhausted.

I arrived at 10PM and left at 5:15AM the following morning. It was a low cost bed for the night. The bathroom was dated with a corner shower with a low showerhead. That said it was clean, with plenty of water pressure. The bed was newer, firm and comfy. The wall AC unit worked well. It had a small TV that I didn't use. For a quick night, it was fine.

availability, location, and price value combination. Even though there was nobody at the reception after 11 pm, the person on the phone responded right away, found my name quickly, and provided me with a password and a room number. The breakfast room was not cleaned for some time, over a month at least.

It was ok for the price
-
Great value for the price. I would stay here again.

They just need they pool up and running.
-
It was cheap and free parking Didn’t like the complimentary breakfast
-
I never checked in because when I drove up to the property, I just got a bad feeling about it. The exterior looked run down, and it was located near the Madison dump. Because of the looks of the exterior, I was afraid to check in. Yes, I judged the book by its cover.
