Sleep Inn & Suites Madison - Monona

They were not able to run the "Expedia" card and we had to pay again

I really just needed a place to sleep and change in between graduation festivities, but it was very clean and the room was great. I didn't have a chance to make use of any of the amenities because I was so busy with family things, but I enjoyed a lovely run one morning on the Capitol Trail (a nearby walking and biking trail that was a short drive away), and found the staff to be very pleasant. All in all, a great deal if you're in the area for a Badgers game or other event and want a quiet, very reasonably priced place to relax that's a little outside the fray.

The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel was immaculate.

The older lady, short blackish hair, was checking me in, I of course, had my flight cancelled so I had to stay over, this woman made check in MISERABLE. MISERABLE. I had made online reservation, got to your hotel, this clerk just kept saying she didn’t have a record of reservation even after I gave her confirmation number. That went in for 15 minutes. I finally got fed up about the reservation conversation and said can I just get a room? That was horrible customer service. Our room tv wasn’t working, went thru that debacle for another half hour, ridiculous. I was manager at a resort and let me tell you, that customer service is horrible. Thanks for starting my trip to BURY MY MOTHER on a horrible note. Appreciate it.

The pool definitely did not look like the picture on the website! The room smelled musty or like dog when we got there.

Wish the pool was a little cleaner and the water was working right

Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Several choices for breakfast was offered.

We were staying for our daughter's graduation from UW. The hotel itself was solid. Clean, great staff. Breakfast was average, but it was included. My only gripe was the 2 1/2-3x rate markup due to graduation weekend. Paid $800+ for two nights in a 2 queen bed room. Same room next weekend is $300. All hotels in the Madison area did the same. Otherwise, a nice place.

Clean nice room. Helpful staff.

Ash was lovely. However, we found hair in the bed and our shower was like walking into a cave in the wall. The walls were so thin, we could feel kids hitting it on the other side. The eggs were wet and mushy. Just a completely different hotel than when we stayed last year.

The breakfast was good, with some hot food offerings and not all carbs. Check in clerk was exceptionally helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. N/A

All was really well! Room was nice, beds were nicer than most other hotels we’ve stayed at. Used the pool area- hot tub and one of the water buckets didn’t work- but other than that nice for little family. Used workout area- that was nice. The breakfast was a big hit. Only downfall was the very VERY strong smell of weed that lingered in the hallway.
