Was a nice 3 day stay! Would book again now that I know. The pool was also nice, wasn’t really anyone in the pool during the times I went. But overall loved how nice the room was and had a peaceful time!

    great place

This hotel was right where we needed it and the price was pretty low. Unfortunately the pool was under maintenance our whole stay, which kinda sucked bc we planned to use it. There is no upkeep on the room while you’re there, they just switch out your towels. The walls are quite thin so you can hear everything around you. The staff was very kind. It worked but was mostly just a bed to sleep in.

Although we received fresh towels daily, we never had maid service and were told when we finally asked that it needed to be requested and was an additional charge. The included breakfast was nothing more than bad coffee and very limited offerings such as bread and apples. Thankfully, there is a Dunkin, as well as a Target down the street. The rooms were spacious and had a mini-fridge. On our last night when I asked again about the pool, I was told I would get a partial refund, but that hasn’t happened as of my writing by this. Convenient location, but would’ve stayed somewhere else for a working pool, better amenities and daily maid service.

Great place to stay in the Los Angeles area that’s affordable. The 232 bus is just a 3 min walk away that’s always on time. The a/c worked perfectly, there was a washer and dryer on the second floor, and the staff was super nice and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here. Not to mention the beach is less than a mile walk away. I’m glad I stayed here. I’ll be booking again for my next LA trip :)

Bed was comfortable and room was updated and quiet. Couple extra towels needed. Only two large towels provided. We had a king room with a sofa sleeper and 4 people staying in the room. Had to go ask for extra towels and then questioned by staff if there were any in my room. They may have just been clarifying as to if housekeeping provided any at all, but it still feels uncomfortable to be questioned when a few extra towels would just be helpful in a room and party of our size from the beginning. Also there were no extra pillows or blankets which some places provide just in case. Other than that it was great.

I feel like the price is great for the area and how close it is to the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I will definitely be booking here again!

We always have a great experience staying here! The hotel is very clean, and the staff at the front desk are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The underground parking has plenty of spaces, which makes everything so convenient. The location is great, and the overall experience keeps us coming back. This has definitely become our go-to place to stay whenever we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

The room was very spacious, clean, and well maintained. The soaking tub was spotless, which I really appreciated. The hotel provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, as well as an iron and ironing board, which was convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the room included a large TV, coffee maker, and refrigerator. The only thing I would have liked was a TV channel guide, as it took some searching to figure out what channels were available. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and friendly when we checked in, which made a great first impression. The location is another big plus. It’s across the street from Starbucks and several restaurants, and only about a mile from the beach, making it very convenient. Overall, despite a few shortcomings with the amenities and breakfast, we had a pleasant stay. None of the issues were deal-breakers, and they didn’t change our opinion of the hotel. We’d happily stay here again—we’ll just know to bring a few extra supplies next time. With a few small improvements, this could easily be an even better place to stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things that could be improved. When we arrived, the room only had two pillows and two bath towels for the entire room. Since there were two of us using both the soaking tub and the shower, having only two towels meant we either had to reuse damp towels or wait for them to dry. There were also only two pillows, both on the main bed, and none for the pullout couch, leaving each of us with just one pillow for the night. We did try calling the front desk to request more towels, but no one answered the phone. The complimentary breakfast had a few nice touches, including make-your-own waffles, bagels, and individually wrapped pastries, but overall it was fairly limited. The cereal was mostly off-brand, there were only a few pieces of fruit, and the milk was served in a gallon container. There was no drinking water available, and when I asked if there was a pitcher of water for breakfast, I was told bottled water was available for purchase instead. The juice station was also confusing—the dispenser labeled apple juice actually contained cranberry juice. The only other option was orange juice, which had an unusual color and wasn’t very appealing. The coffee was disappointing, and the only creamer available was individual International Delight packets. There were no alternatives such as regular milk, skim milk, or almond milk. We also found no towels available at the pool, which was inconvenient. None of these issues would keep us from staying here again—we would. We’d simply come prepared with a few extra supplies of our own. The front desk staff we interacted with in person were friendly and welcoming, and with a few improvements to the amenities and breakfast, this hotel could provide an even better guest experience.

The pool was closed because it was GREEN. Literally the only reason I booked this place over another in the area. Expressed my disappointment but front desk just brushed it off. Next, the room had a leak! The ceiling was literally dripping onto the furniture. I have pictures. The front desk guy came to tell us, “we know there’s a leak in your room, DONT WORRY, WE WONT CHARGE YOU FOR IT”!!! I thought he was joking but he was completely serious. I say, of course you’re not going to charge me for your leaky ceiling! You should give me a discount or another room! I was appalled that all he did was bring towels to soak up the water and didn’t offer to change our room! He said they were ‘fully booked’. No apology, nothing. I told him this leaking room should not be offered to customers, he repeated he was fully booked. I told him he should’ve refunded my money and left that room empty until the leak is fixed. All of a sudden, the room next door was available! But, because I “used the bed already” I couldn’t change rooms. I told him I checked the bedding for bed bugs given the dirtiness and disrepair of the hotel. He said he didn’t have housekeeping to remake the bed for the next guests!? So he was still gonna pass the room to the next customer? I told him that wasn’t my problem, he finally showed the next room so we could switch. It wasn’t much better. Black mold on the walls. I could say more but running out of space. Zero customer service, place is falling apart. DON’T STAY HERE!

The price is great, room was clean. Location was further from beach than expected- our issue not the hotels. We watched youtube videos that made this place look amazing. Free breakfast was great. The bed frames are some sort of aluminum stuff that shakes and makes a creaky noise any time someone shuffles in thier sleep. Pillows and blankets were subpar. Backs and necks hurt in AM. Pool (which was why we booked this hotel at all) was out of chemicals and we were unable to swim. Our kids live for swimming at hotels. Was a disappointment but we did swim in the ocean, so not totally terrible. It seemed like one overwhelmed employee was running everything, so I don't want to begrudge him...but also we asked for extra towels and were told they didn't have any clean? Waited hours to shower and finally got two extra bath towels for our family of 4. Wasn't the best, wasn't the worst for the price. I feel if the pool had been operational, we could have overlooked some things. Glad it was only a one night stay.
