This hotel was amazing and the staff was incredibly helpful!!! Breakfast each morning had a great variety and really catered to all types of diets. Each morning was different, which was much appreciated since we were staying there for 7 days. The staff was very helpful and assisted us with whatever we asked. It was great to have multiple sleeping arrangements with the sleeper sofa and the trundle bed. It was nice to always have hot beverages available in the lobby, especially when coming in from cold days walking around Canary Row or on a Whale Watching Tour. The rooms were cleaned spotless each morning and all used supplies were restocked. The parking was free and plentiful. And the staff was incredibly welcoming each time we walked through the doors.

Terrible customer service

I wish I remembered the gentleman who was at the front desk. He was extremely helpful with getting us into a room early. We got in earlier than expected and he went above and beyond with getting us into a room early. Thank you so much

I tried asking about compensation..told Saturday I had to wait for manager. On check out today DeeDee was rude and short. Wouldn't give me a receipt. And about an hour later I see a charge for $271 that I have no idea what it is for. Tried calling to speak with a manger. Tried to call to speak to a manager..hung up on twice and transferred with a dropped call.

Assigned an occupied room then assigned the wrong room and asked relocate the next morning. Poorly trained and arrogant staff at front desk.

First, they had the best free breakfast of any Marriott that we have stayed at, and it changes from weekends to weekdays. The family loved the breakfast. Free parking? While everyone was charging $40-$50 to park overnight, it's nice to see that parking is included with your reservation. The staff was beyond helpful; they offered complimentary ice-cold water, hot water, hot chocolate, and coffee in the lobby all day. The pool was a bit small. Once leaving the elevator and into the hallway, I don't know if it's a smoke-free hotel, but I could smell it being either muggy or smoky on the 2nd-floor lobby, and once we walked into our room, it was humid and muggy. The room was clean, large, and had all the amenities. We cranked up the AC and opened the windows for some air and to cool down the room. Overall, we would return because they do have many great eateries surrounding the hotel.

Great place in a great location. Easy access to the freeway. We enjoyed our stay. I feel it's a bit overpriced but it's coastal so expected.

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. Several advertised amenities and room features were either missing or not functioning properly during our stay. The roof lights were not working, which made the rooftop area feel uninviting at night. Additionally, there was no fire pit on the roof, despite it being listed as an available feature. Inside the room, the television was positioned far too far from the bed, making it uncomfortable to watch. The bathroom setup was also disappointing, as there was only one mirror available, which was inconvenient for multiple guests getting ready at the same time. On top of that, the sink drained very slowly, creating further inconvenience throughout our stay. Overall, the property did not match the expectations created by the listing, and several maintenance and accuracy issues should be addressed to improve the guest experience for future visitors.

Great place... good breakfast

The hotel is average for the nightly price. The breakfast is great. The room is clean, but the mini refrigerator doesn't have a freezer section. They don't have a jacuzzi. Overall decent but the nightly price is high for the property.

Clean and walkable to stores

I arrived to check in and my rooms were not ready even though I called hours before. An hour passed and I come up to the front desk again and find out DeeDee (who has horrible customer service) never checked us in! Then there was a mixup with all the rooms. Then I get the room and the showers had dirt stuck to the floor and the shower head looks like it has not been washed ever.
