The location was easy to find, clean and pleasant stay.

The staff were super friendly and helpful--5 stars! The breakfast bar was mediocre--please whole milk for cereal and tea--only had skim and 2% milk. Whole milk is a must for many people. Thank you

Underwear and socks left in the room. Blood spots on the bed sheets. Large stains(blood,,?) on the carpet.

Everything is good,but the room’s soundproofing isn’t good , I can hear footsteps from upstairs

I'm not a big fan of the room layout, and the bed could be more comfortable. The bathroom's cleanliness is somewhat questionable. However, the hotel’s prime location within walking distance of food and shopping options, and its proximity to CSUMB, are definite advantages. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was enjoyable. Although the bar was closed during our stay, overall, the hotel is very nice. And it is only a few minutes from the beach at Fisherman's Wharf.

Staff and room were good. Breakfast was good. You are not in the dunes or by the ocean. I spent almost $500 thinking I would be on the ocean. At least a decent view. I looked at a target parking lot

It was very nice

The one reason I chose this place was because of the size of the rooms and the indoor pool. Staying with 4 kids, the room felt really spacious. They loved the pool! The breakfast was a nice perk too. A great plus to get us back on the road. Loved it!

A nice hotel

We had three children and two adults, so the room with two queen beds and a sofa bed was perfect; and the extra large walk-in closet provided an extra changing area! The indoor pool was lots of fun on a cold, windy night. Breakfast was a delight - gluten-free waffles, real Greek yogurt, feta and kale egg bites, turkey sausage and the kids' favorites were ham, cheese and egg croissants with hot chocolate. The rooms are completely quiet and the staff was kind to start the firepit for the kids before we left.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. I'm not a fan of hotel buffet breakfasts, but a shout out goes to their service staff for always having a friendly smile and keeping it very clean throughout the morning crowds. The spacious lobby always had fresh coffee and it was comfortable to sit and read or work.

Customer service was very poor. We arrived at 2:57

When I checked in staff did not tell me that if you want room cleaned including new towels put in room, trash taken out and beds made you have to request it at the front desk. I think the front desk should inform the customer. We came back to the hotel after a long day out at Santa Cruz at 8pm only to find the beds not made, no clean towels and trash still full. We let the front desk know and they asked if they had told us of housekeeping policy when I checked in and I told them no they did not. All they could do was give us towels. We had to ask the housekeeping man if he could take the trash as the little bins were full. Really bad service by staff checking in people. We were there since Sunday, checked out Wednesday and Monday housekeeping had cleaned room but not Tuesday as noted above. We pay some $399/night I think its only right for the hotel to clean the room and notify us of their housekeeping policies. We'll likely not stay there again.
