This is a very nice mid price hotel near to Monterey. We stayed overnight and saw the sights in Monterey the next day. There can be traffic to Monterey so plan to avoid rush hour

We were happy to find an affordable hotel in the Monterrey area during a very busy week. The property was impeccably clean and conveniently located. However, the room we got did not match the photos on the Hotels.com page. Furniture looked older and more worn. In any case,the hotel did meet our need for an affordable, convenient overnight stay.

Pricing was fair compared with other accommodations in the immediate area. However, I would recommend going into your stay knowing that this is primarily a place to sleep rather than somewhere to expect a lot of amenities. The room was clean for the most part, although I did not use the shower. I checked in late and forgot to ask for the Wi-Fi information, and I was unable to find the Wi-Fi details posted anywhere in the room. You are also issued only one room key. There is no air conditioning, which is definitely something to consider depending on the time of year you plan to visit. There was an older fan in the room, but unfortunately it was broken and did not oscillate. On the positive side, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the location is convenient, and you are close to the beach. Overall, if you are looking for a reasonably priced place near the beach where you can get a comfortable night's sleep, this serves that purpose well. Just keep your expectations reasonable when it comes to updates, amenities, and modern conveniences.

Staff was very pleasant & accommodating. Motel is very old, not mad at its age. My complaints are simple fix: MOLD on shower ceiling in the bathroom & lots of it, also room for 4 & only towels enough for 2 or 3. Not worth over $250 a night, maybe $70 unless you add dome paint & fix all of the crooked things: microwave, wall heater, refrigerator. Please fix those things, we'd love to stay there again...I stayed there 40+ years ago as a kid.

It was nice and comfortable.

Its alright just to sleep. No bed bugs.

Clean and spacious rooms, clean bedding and bathrooms. It would have been nicer not to have cleaning supplies placed outside our unit, and a door mat would be a good addition as well, but on the whole a safe and quiet place to stay while visiting Seaside or the Monterey area.

It was decent and good price. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Hey it is not a five star hotel though.

Book the room and went there but we didn’t like it, asked for refund, The motel owner was very rudeThey told me will refund your money but they didn’t.After a week call them they told me we refunded your money and will take few days but never got any money back. They just lying to me. No recommendation at all.

Room was clean and staff was accommodating and helpful when we knew we’d be checking in after midnight.

The property was clean and the bed was comfortable. Low water pressure and the water did not get very hot, luke warm at best. Mold in the shower.

Out dated and a far cry from a rating of 8.

The one night stay was okay. It was a Standard room. It had the basic queen beds, TV, and internet access. The shower water temperature changes from hot to cold. It was a fast shower. There were local restaurants and store within walking distance.
