Motel 6 Marina, CA - Monterey

Very nice place

Good location

Room and towels had bits of human & dog hair.

The gentleman at the counter was beyond accommodating and polite. He voluntarily upgraded us to a room with a microwave and a refrigerator. And that worked out beautiful for us because we had thought a lot of food with us. Thank you so much for that. Very kind gesture. We will definitely stay there again. Marina is a pretty place and very centrally located to everything in Monterey as well.

We had to make a major change and travel plans and reserve this room late at night. The staff was great. The room was wonderful and it made stay much more enjoyable.

Really appreciated the upgrade to laminate floors which is a must for a hotel that allows pets. Did not use the laundry room so cannot comment on that, but all the appliances in the room were working. Hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, right next to a Denny's that serves great breakfast, and very close to a beach (with lifeguards). There is also a humungous playground across the street from the hotel, and a Walmart within walking distance. So, while it does not offer much in terms of amenities or flair, its prime location makes it a place I would go to again.

Best Motel 6, just wished had more chairs in the bedroom.

The grounds weren't as maintained as I would have liked, and the rooms were nice but could use a modern upgrade. However, for the excellent price and location, it was a comfortable stay. Great budget-friendly option!

This is a good property with minimal amenities.it is a property that you can stay one night but no more,there is no coffee maker or iron in room,tv is very small and the beds have a metal frame with springs that make a lot of noise if you move

I reserved a first floor room for my husband knees issues. The room smells like dogs and combined with garbage. Then only great thing it was a yound lady Jessica. She was nice and kind . She was able to give me another decent room. Then the next day the room guests card won't work , the roo.m" phone dead, no able to communicate to the front desk. Horrible experiences. The front service said well you know i computer issues. What about the phone ahh sometimes happens. No even said sorry for any inconvenience:((.

The hotel is very convenient. The room was clean, it had all we needed. Which was only bar soap but that’s all we needed. The property could benefit from some pressure washing on the stairs. It would make the property feel a lot cleaner.
