This resort was absolutely beautiful. Everyone and everything we encountered was excellent. The location was also fantastic. Our room had an incredible ocean view right on the beach, which was simply amazing. However, I wish they had a gym and parking in front of the unit instead of having to go all the way down to the reception area.

Waking up to a beautiful view of the Ocean view!

Our room was pet friendly, allowing for quick access to outdoors. The beds and the bathroom were luxurious. The entire property was extremely quiet, partly because cars were not allowed in the area. Very relaxing!

Right on the beach ....nice room with fireplace and nice bathroom....great staff!

A very peaceful and calming environment. Perfect to detach from a chaotic world. Staff is excellent and the cottage we booked was very comfortable. There’s no gym and other than beach walks or bonfires at night, there’s not a lot to do.

There was a huge bug in our bathroom. We were promised a beach front sand in the patio room and were not given that. The property compensated with “gifts” and that no one made that promise. The room I paid for and in the pictures, and spoke with a staff member at the resort wasn’t that when I arrived. I paid $2500.00 for 2 nights that was supposed to had been sand in my porch. Also- On Expedia it shows daily credit towards food or beverages and they didn’t apply that. They stated only for breakfast. So just a little misleading. Overall it was supposed to had been a really nice getaway and it just put a sour taste to our stay without even entering to our room. It’s a nice place to stay but don’t have high expectations with your room with what you book and what you’re given. The pictures are misleading and won’t be what you actually get. It’s to the hotel’s discretion what room exactly you get and if you speak to someone get a name because they will okay the “I don’t see notes” on my end.

The room and view was great. On our last night, people arrived in the room above us and were soooo loud the entire night that we couldn't sleep and our baby and toddler kept waking up. When we woke up to enjoy our last morning on our balcony, we opened the sliding door to find throw up all over the floor and it was dripping down from the balcony above us. We were not able to enjoy breakfast and our last morning on our balcony taking in the ocean view and it felt like we paid an extra night that we weren't even able to enjoy. The person that came to clean the balcony was only going to use paper towels and a broom and was planning to walk back through our room until we told him that he would need more to clean up the mess and if he could not walk back through our room after cleaning it up because that would be disgusting.

Excellent service with attention to detail. We very much appreciated the extra effort made to make our stay memorable.

Accommodations and service were excellent would recommend to friends and family.

I loved everything about the property but was sad to see all the couples spa appointments were booked for days out. I did not like that there was no bath tub in our room. Also: Check in time is at 3pm while check out time is 11am. I paid for 1 night’s stay so that felt like a poor deal for how much I spent. I wish check in was earlier or check out later. Otherwise, it’s not worth it for only 1 night’s stay.

I booked an ocean view suite - two levels of upgrades and the most expensive I could book when I booked. But our view was mostly of other building and there was also a large unsightly pipe obstructing the view. I even asked the front desk if I got the correct room and was told I did. Bed was not very comfortable. Both of our backs were sore after just one night. In-room coffee was like tea and came far from meeting expectations. Thermostat was too low and un-readable in the dark. Shower was quite small.

This was our second visit and bravo. Love the trails, doggy restaurant, accessibility to the beach. Great food and views . Love the amenities and classes, especially the sound bath. This is our ultimate destination for mental resetting.

Location is beautiful. In between Monterey and Carmel with a quiet private beach.
-
Excellent position and view As a microwave and sink provided would make sense to also have some basic crockery and cutlery provided - these were made available on request.
