Lovely property. Just like the photos The dinning was exceptional Very clean.

Spa is tiny. Book ahead. Do not get the scalp massage - my hair was oily for days.

Great location on a fabulous, Long Beach. Nightly bonfires were relaxing and a great way to meet other guests. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

Love the binoculars. The dolphins swim just off the beach and hang out. Exciting to see and watch them. Well kept and managed facility.

The view from the panaromic suite was UNBELIEVABLE. If you are looking for a private destination, this isn't exactly it. Everyone on the beach could see in our patio door, but waking up to the dolphins and seals every day more than made up for it. Hotel amenities are leas than I was expecting for the price. Partner got a massage and said the spa was nice. The restaurant on site, Salt Wood, was mid. Pricey for some very standard food/drinks. Nighlty "Bondfire" complete with smores and a glass of wine is a total rip off IMO. Overall I would say The Sanctuary has all the outward trappings of a luxury beach resort, but save yourself some money and book the cheapest available room. They are all the same besides the view, and some of the cheaper ones were FAR more private

It’s very dog friendly and I love that because I’m a single paw-rent.

Place was very nice and welcoming. Had fun events for all and wonderful property.

Our room was a partial ocean view. Room was beautiful when you walk in and the grounds are impeccable. In the evening We turned on the fireplace and it didn’t work. It was fixed the next day but when we went to use it, it only stayed on a few minutes and turned off. not even meeting the temperature it was set too. Our room had only cold water all of a Sudden and tub didn’t work Also had ants in the bathroom. This was our second time at resort. If it was our first visit we wouldn’t have gone back with all these problems since it’s expensive to stay here.

This was a great escape to the sanctuary, the room, amenities, beach were all perfect! Recommendations for travelers plan for food or using room service. The only other dining available begins at 3:30 @ SaltWood.

This is my favorite resort, the kids love it, we love it. The staff is very helpful . Highly recommended. I recommend room 604 for the best view

The place was decent, overall you’re paying for amazing views of the ocean and the dog friendly nature. I didn’t like that there was no way to control the temp in the room besides opening the doors and windows and a fire. I like to sleep cold and some nights it was warm which wasn’t ideal. But overall it was a good place to getaway with the dogs

Beautiful place to stay. The views are magical.

While the resort is great, it is deeply run down after many years. It is simply not worth the money, there are disturbances at night from the patrons on the 2nd floor. This nuisance is structural and cannot be fixed. I would prefer if they make it apparent and reflect this in their overall cost of stay.

We were very impressed with our stay. The staff was wonderful. The amenities in the room were very well thought out. The beach was beautiful and pristine. We enjoyed watching the sea life and the welcoming of pets is amazing. We will be back. ❤️

For $1000 a night it should be spectacular. I’d say it was very nice but a couple things

Our room was right on the beach, couldn’t be any closer. Room was very clean and spacious and my sons loved sleeping on the sofa bed. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the view of the ocean is unbeatable. We were able to star gaze at night by the firepits. All in all, a wonderful stay!
