Breakfast was lousy.

Great place to stay

Freezing cold water none of us could shower, complained at 7am waited hour for someone to help nothing left at 8am complained again and then ironically water was warm if you left the bathroom sink tap on! Don’t bother wasting your money staying here, they are not helpful refused refund, said because lots of workers are there they use the hot water first as if we are not good enough and paid same fees as workers to stay in hotel. Travelled with 2 children and we all left unwashed! Rooms were not the best and not clean either.

We had a good stay, bathroom very small and breakfast super crowded.

This place was a dump and they look like they just remodeled so I would hate to have seen what it looked like before. Room was still dirty parking lot was dirty and had people walking around in it all night. Breakfast was a joke and all the trash cans were full. Milk and food were all over the counters and floor. Police driving thru the parking lot all night so I believe this is a problem area. Do not stay here unless you have no other option. Our room was over 400 bucks. Spend the extra 50 bucks and stay somewhere else.

Staff was good but room was run down. Bathroom light didn't work, tv didn't work at times. Trash was under the sink & my hair dryer wouldn't stay in the outlet. Also there wasn't any soap at the sink.

Breakfast is just fine, could have better food choices. I report to the front desk the lady assigned in the kitchen, she was bringing out 6 slices of breads with bare hands. No gloves or small tray to put the food instead. The building is old. The only pros in this property is walking distance in the beach. It's not true that there is a white sand in front of the property.

The stay was expensive which would make you expect quality. But nope! The rooms floor was dirty, the mirror had been torn off the wall and was left just sitting there. There was no light in the restroom, and it smelled. Several other lights didn’t work.

Too expensive for this kind of hotel.

Arrived late, there was NO hot or warm water. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash EMPTY! Floor was DIRTY. Comforter had old blood looking STAINS on it. The AC was literally so loud we almost ran out of the room thought someone was getting shot! And it wasn’t even cooling! Bathroom wall was full of HAIR! Tried calling front desk phone kept giving us a busy signal and I could go on! Don’t waste your money!

When we got there, everything in the room was unplugged including the refrigerator. The room was adequate. My husband, four year old, and 3 month old decided checked in at 4pm. We then ordered some food because we were hungry after a 7 hour trip. We then realized the fridge was hot and not plugged in when we were done with the food and my oldest child had his left over he wanted to keep. We plugged it in and we left for the beach. We came back completely covered in sand, we had a fun time at the beach. We go to take showers NO HOT WATER AT ALL! My husband calls the front desk and they wouldnt even answer. He goes to the front, they tell us to leave the water running and he would call maintenance. 30 minutes go by, no hot water. Another 30 minutes go by, and still no hot water. We left the shower and sink going thw whole time. My husband went down 4 more times in that time and he kept being told the same thing, they wouldnt answer the phone when he called. Maintainance is working on it. Finally we asked for a refund and went somewhere else at 830pm. We were in checked in for a whole 4.5 hours. I was absolutely appalled. I have a 3 month old baby, he cant take an ice cold shower. The least a room can do is a bed and a hot shower. NOT THIS PLACE. They probably had the hot water heater turned off trying to cheap out on money just like all of the appliances in our room. No hot water, no microwave, fridge unplugged, wouldnt answer the phone. Don't stay here, not worth the money.

The hotel was great. It was older but clean and the staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable, location was amazing. Just a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was decent but if there were more than a few people in there at once it was almost impossible to get to the food. It's a very small area. I would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay, the staffs are very helpful.The location is excellent—it's just a short walk from Marina State Beach and only a short drive to Monterey, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The hotel was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. My only drawback was the price, which was higher than my budget. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, especially if location is your priority.

Bathrooms are Very Small. Doors open inward to bathroom, you have to lean or straddle the toilet just to close the door behind you.. Towels were dirty (stained) Hot water ?? Good Luck with that, pipes burping air first minute. Luke warm water at best..

The laundry room was out of service which was not good considering we sent three days at the beach. The room was clean but we had to go looking for the house keeper to get more clean towels. The air conditioner was not working properly. We had to set ours to the lowest temperature possible in order to be able to sleep through the night without sweating. The breakfast was very good. Lots to choose from cereal & milk, yogurt, toast, coffee, juice, scrambled egg, sausage, bacon, fresh waffles with butter and syrup. Those were definitely the crowd favorite. The staff in the dining room was great. Which is more than I can say for the other guests that let their mess behind. They spilled food not just on the counter, dining table and the floor, they also complained about not being able to fill up plate after plate of food and trying to take them to go. The staff was polite and we will definitely be back again.

The nonsmoking room reeked of smoke and the smell got into our clothing. The bedspread on one of the beds was dirty. There was no light over the sink. You had to turn on the light in the bath to get a little illumination. I booked a room with a bathtub, but it only had a shower. The bathroom was so tiny you had to squeeze up against the shower to close the door for privacy, There was no shelf in the shower for shampoo, soap or body wash. You had to place those items on the floor while showering. Won't be staying here again,

The room was great tha stay was great just the vending machine was broken breakfast not so good and the floors of the room was dirty but the staff was really friendly and nice!
