Very nice hotel and staff was very helpful.

Our room's air conditioning was not working and the room felt oddly humid. Not the cleanest room either.

The staff was friendly for the most part also but the front desk reception person looked like she could use some sleep when I asked her to check out. She looked sleepy and had a can of energy drink next to her. Again, not a big deal but just something I noticed. The complimentary breakfast could definitely use some improvement. They kept running out of food and it was pretty messy in the dining area. We had friends staying next door at the Hampton Inn and their breakfast was much nicer and their kitchen was clean with ample breakfast items available. Parking was great with plenty of space to park. For the price you pay, I thought overall it was still a good value if you want just a simple place to stay that won't break the bank.

Place was clean, and checking in and out was quick. It had a variety of breakfast items and coffee. The eating area did get a bit messy since traffic is nonstop. But it helps to get there early to avoid most of the crowd. Beds were good, but the pillows were not comfortable for us. It was a very good experience overall. Will stay here again in the future.

The Comfort Inn Marina was a great location to get to Seaside, Monterey, and Sand City. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The rooms were a decent size and pretty clean. The breakfast was okay.

Everything is petfect.

I booked two nights for my family and I to stay here. We arrived later in the evening and were given a room that was dirty, disgusting, and unacceptable to have anyone stay in it. There were hairs on the bedspread, sheets and pillowcases, both of beds were covered with hairs from all parts of the body, including stains. The microwave was dirty, the refrigerator/cooler still had someone’s yogurts in it one of which was opened and the whole things was clearly dirty. Not to mention that the toilet wasn’t flushing correctly. My husband was given a plunger, he was told maintenance wasn’t there at the hotel. Also when I spoke to the front desk attendant about our dirty room she told me that the room we were in was the last one and that they were full for the evening. I asked for the manager and was given a name Maria and was told that person wasn’t there. She gave me the managers email address in which I emailed and included the pictures of our dump of a room. The manager has yet to make things right and contact me or give me a refund for our inconveniences and horrible experience. I have also contacted the Comfort Inn customer service number to make a complaint. We booked a two night stay. We were given clean bedsheets and pillowcases at my request. The front desk attendant also told me that they don’t clean the bedspreads every day. Traveler you’ve been warned.

Great hotel location just down the street from a cute beachfront to check out, near to Monterey city for activities & nearby stores for convenience. Free daily breakfast was yummy and the room was comfy and clean.

This is our second visit amd was great. We feel very safe and comfortable staying here. It's near the freeway and a Walmart right across the street, which is very convenient. This is our new favorite place to stay when we visit out family
