Great friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Plenty of shelving, desk space, and storage. Microwave and fridge come in handy. Free breakfast is a great value and is helpful to have. Plenty of parking.

The facility is older and needs a little attention. The carpet by the wall next to the bathroom was wet. We could hear water running through the wall when we had no water running in our bathroom. The hotel looked fairly clean but didn't smell clean.

As the hotel is pretty new, all the facilities are barely worn. You can check out the sunset over the ocean wirh a 2 minute drive from the hotel too (although there not a lot of parking available 😫)

At check-in, the gentleman at the front desk was kind & offered condolences, knowing we were there for a funeral. The room was great & we didn't have issues until a few days later. We removed the placard from the door before leaving all day, & prepped the room to be cleaned; towels & linen left on the floor, & tip on the table. As we walked out, housekeeping was servicing the room across from ours. When we returned later that day, our room was as we left it. I called front desk, no answer. We were tired so I let it be & intended to address it the next morning. The gal at the front desk apologized & stated they didn't have time to get to our room. I told her they were cleaning the room across from us when we left & instead of addressing her misinformation, she offered to give me towels and TP. I walked out of the hotel to our rental with an armful of towels, washcloths and TP. Couple days after, in the middle of the night the a/c wouldn't stop & soon the room was freezing. I called front desk, no answer. We bundled up & tried to sleep but couldn't. I went to the front desk, was told we'd have to wait until morning or change rooms. I was speechless. She said she'd call & update me on when someone could look at it. By 0800 I still hadn't received a call. On our way out, again before a long day of family mourning, front desk advised they were aware but were waiting for us to leave the room. Our room was missed for cleaning a 2nd time & we were done. I won't stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights. The egg option on one morning was a cheese omelet and scrambled eggs on the other. The hot cinnamon bun things reminded me of the Pillsbury tube cinnamon rolls my mom made growing up. While tasty, you could also practically taste the over processing. The kids liked the yogurt and fruit option along with the sausages. Not bad for a hotel breakfast but if it wasnt included in the hotel stay, it wouldn't be something I'd consider worth paying for next time. The water pressure in the shower was really good, but on the first night the hot water was only lukewarm for the first 5 minutes of the shower then suddenly kicked in to high gear and heated up to real nice temperature. I'm guessing everyone else in the hotel picked the exact same time to take a shower and the hot water system was overloaded until people started getting out of the shower. The location is very close to the beach and the freeway. But the parking lot at the nearest beach access fills up quick. Walmart and a gas station next door. Definitely could use an update/remodel.

Check-in service was horrible. Took a very, very long time just to check in the one person ahead of us. By that time there were people waiting to check in out the door. The girls seem nice, but didn’t seem to have any clue what she was doing. Breakfast was inedible and we never once saw anyone checking it or seeing if anything was needed. I was in a wheelchair and forced to bust a table all on my own because all the tables that weren’t being used by other people were filled with garbage and the entire time that my husband and I sat there no one ever came to take the garbage away.
