Great hotel. This is the 3rd time we stay there and is always great!

They only clean the rooms every other day. We only stayed 2 nights so had to get fresh towels from front desk, beds not made. A horrible perfume odor was permeating the lobby. Yuk. Nice lobby otherwise. TP holder in room broken. Do not try to check in even one minute before 3pm check in time. They had quite a crowd waiting for the exact 3:00 time. Restaurant was so-so. I wouldn’t eat there again. Paid extra for a 1st floor patio. Underwhelming. I’m not a picky person typically!

Hotel needs an upgrade - no thermostat in room - old outdated a/c units that squeak - dirty carpeting- tile that needs replaced .. it could be a fab hotel but needs so upgrades

The Hotel was good overall. The only concern is carpet in the hallway should be replaced they are uneven and are buckling.

Tony in the front desk and Leah our pool attendant were the best! We enjoyed the cabana we rented and the pool was nice! Definitely will be staying at MDR again.

The hotel and amenities were very old, the non smoking room smelled like someone just finished a pack of cigarets in the room. No sensitivity on checking in a bit (even 30 mins) early because “they have to finish cleaning ALL the rooms first before letting the guests in. I got late to the wedding I was invited and had to change clothes in the bathroom. Awful customer service. Would never stay here again.

Great location! Would definitely stay here again! Side note... THE COOKIES ARE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!

Clean with friendly staff.

It should AT LEAST be 9.5... easily!!! I am from Texas and brought my 2 children with me to enjoy all things southern California and will choose this hotel every time! The staff... all the staff.... but ESPECIALLY Bianca was sooo helpful and kind! True hospitality! The hotel is clean, very beautiful, very clean, and my kids absolutely enjoyed the heated pool. I love this place!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only complaint was our room. It wasn’t very clean the rugs were wet and the room had an odor, it did not smell clean at all. The bathroom was dirty the toilet and shower needed to be cleaned properly. I hope the staff will take the time to make sure things get cleaned properly.

That being said the staff I spoke to were very friendly which I certainly appreciated.

This hotel is an easy stay — however if you are traveling alone it is worth knowing that it feels very remote at night. I would not walk to the entry / exit of the plaza alone or with headphones in, as there are a noticeable amount of people wandering around or sleeping.

Hilton has let this one go.

Everything was OK, but that’s all just OK. Lots of room for improvement.

We were put in the handicap room so it was very spacious and roomy. My only complaint is that there was only one sink in the bathroom and the counter space in the bathroom was very small. There wasn't enough room for two people to place there toiletries on the counter. There was only one mirror in the entire room which was in the bathroom. It would be nice if there was also a mirror in the room so that if one person is using the bathroom, another person can put on their makeup and use the mirror in the room. There was also only one towel rack. It would be nice if there was another one or some hooks to hang towels or our travel makeup bags since there was very limited counter space.

Comfy beds. Windows pointed out to a boring parking lot. Pool was warm and great but it could have used a cleaning. Buffet breakfast was great. Parking reasonable
