Marina del Rey Hotel

During check-in, we were informed of an additional $40 “destination fee,” which we had not expected. Paying an extra $90 on top of the $365 nightly rate for a one-night business stay was disappointing. We asked if we could cancel our reservation because of these unexpected fees, but the manager refused. The only accommodation offered was waiving the $50 valet fee, so we decided to stay. Our room was on the first floor facing the pool. While the room itself was clean, it felt outdated. The pool area, however, did not appear well maintained. Many of the lounge chairs were heavily stained, the area looked worn, and the pool was smaller than expected. The biggest issue was the noise. Guests in the room above us were extremely loud, making it impossible to relax. After spending only about 20 minutes in the room, we decided to leave. Overall, this hotel did not meet our expectations for a 4-star property. Between the unexpected fees, outdated facilities, poorly maintained pool area, and excessive noise, I would not recommend staying here.

Great location and the room view and view from the restaurant were awesome.

Loved location. Enjoyed the world cup game and some bites at the lounge that had fantastic vibe. Bartender was great. Took advantage of complimentary bikes for morning ride to get coffee. Would stay again.

The outside patio area needs a deep cleaning and scrub. The cushions were worn and the furniture was old and dirty

Beautiful boutique property with fantastic lounge patio with live music and matching breakfast patio for mornings. Views were great. Parking is weird if you don’t pay for the expensive valet.

I had a wonderful stay at Marina del Rey Hotel. The location is beautiful, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, with gorgeous views of the marina. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We have our boat in the Marina nearby . We keep it here because of Marina Del Rey hotel . Excellent accommodations and delicious food

Restaurant closes at 10 pm. We were sent to our rooms because we were not allowed to stay anywhere on the property after 10 pm

Better than our expectations, all across the board.

I have stayed here multiple times and the property is a bit worn out now. Rooms need some paint and 52 dollars to park seems excessive
