The Kinney - Venice Beach

The place is good if you're looking for a classic Southern California sort of accommodations. It's far from upper end, but it is functional and sort of well-situated being close to Santa Monica, where we spent most of our evenings. It was also very close to the airport, something that was important for us.

I had an amazing stay at the hotel. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I rented a bike and rode to the beach and around Abbott Kinney while I was out there which was the way to go there. Everything was about a mile away. Lots or restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and spacious.

They need to make sure they handle their customers better I had ants in my bed, and they were also ants in the shower. that woke up out of my sleep due to ants crawling on me. we need to take better care of their property and customers.

Our family had a lovely, quick stay at The Kinney. The hotel’s vibe matched well with the Venice Beach neighborhood. We stayed Friday-Saturday nights and it was very quiet in our room. We didn’t interact much with the staff, but those we did talk to were kind and helpful. The room was clean and we enjoyed the quirky art.

Everything was as expected

Our stay was very comfortable and reasonably priced, , but, the facility lacks any sort of amenities and it’s not conveniently located when it comes to meals and or entertainment. For us, it served as a more than adequate landing spot for our intended purpose.

The staff were very kind and I highly suggest their garage parking. A very cozy boutique hotel with fantastic eateries in the area.

Move rooms twice because it smelled like mold so bad my eyes were watering. The rooms were comfortable but basic at best. There was hair in the shower walls. It was just a miss I wouldn’t recommend or stay again! I was actually blown away the reviews were as good as they were. It’s kinda a creepy vibe. The staff was nice and helpful.

I loved how kind the staff was and the excellent service. We were told how to get to Venice beach and were offered bikes through the hotel to make it easier. It was great there was nothing to dislike.
