Ok place to stay breakfast could be better

I feel bad giving this review as it seems like a family is trying to run this place and they were very nice but in way over their heads. Our room smelled terrible including the bathroom smelling like urine. The owner was very accommodating and switched rooms. The place had a dank smell, areas smelled like cigarettes, and hallways needed to be vacuumed. In the rooms the furniture was old, broken with no hardware on the dressers, no coffee maker in lobby, and had to request toilet paper in the bathroom in the lobby. The pool was closed due to health codes. Again, I hope this family can make this place work and at this time I would not recommend staying here.

Owner was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable.

There was no prior notice that the pool was closed by the health department over a week before our stay. The staff’s response was you’re free to try getting a room at another hotel. There was a shower in my room, but the faucet had been changed, so there was no way to turn the shower on.

It was somewhat concerning to find out the Health Department had closed the pool. Everything else was top notch.

This is a definite never-return hotel.

Just needed more cleaning overall. Sheets and towels were clean. Breakfast? Posted available until 9am but no hot foods left at 8:15. Location is good.

Great for a bed just to sleep in.

What’s even worse is that someone was bumping our room’s door and others’ loudly after midnight and in the early morning, which was really scary that I couldn’t fall asleep.

Pool was not working and now i have bites on my arms which did not have prior to stay, not clean need to get the bugs out...... disappointed for sure

Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed, bed height from the floor was good. Slept very well. Excellent stay, great price. Will definitely stay again. Clean. Location, Could be better, but not bad. Part of Walmart parking lot.
