Candlewood Suites Cincinnati Northeast-Mason by IHG

All was good until we realized that the carpet between the bed and window was soaking wet. Went to the front desk and they immediately took care of the problem. We ended up moving to another room. Otherwise things were good. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. Would stay here again.

Service was great. Had an issue late at night called front desk the woman was very helpful and acted quickly.

The pool was not cleaned. And had bandaids at the bottom of it, so much hair floating everywhere, the seating area was also not cleaned at all. Between the food and someone’s babies diaper on the floor. My family couldn’t swim in the pool. I feel as though it should be more maintained for being a hotel and so guests can comfortably swim in the pool.

My room smelled moldy when I entered it. I ran the heat to attempt to remove the odor but could not. Now that I am home my clothes smell moldy as well. Staff was very helpful.

The staff was helpful and friendly. I was disappointed that they no longer had breakfast and a paper. The parking lot was full when we returned from a late dinner.

Decent price. The bathroom drain wasn’t working properly so you had to stand in your shower water.

Sparkling clean, minimal services facility, excellent staff, and a Graeter’s ice cream store just a short walk or wheel next door - yum! Very restful. Didn’t care for some of the other guests putting their garbage bags and other mess outside their rooms, but that’s them being rude slobs, not the hotel’s fault, and I was too tired from a long drive to call the front desk to ask it to be removed. What can you do? Humans, right? Thinking we’re the superior species when we don’t even clean up what we make messes of. Pfui.

NOT “wonderful”. Our shower had dead gnats due to no drainage in the tub. Then it was hard to tell if any of the bathroom areas had truly been cleaned. When I mentioned it to the morning staff she just responded with an awkward smile, “I’m sorry.” However, the night staff when we arrived were very kind and helpful. Disappointed in this location especially since the reviews seemed decent. Not horrible by any means, but won’t be staying again next time I head to Kings Island.

The staff and room were amazing and comfortable. The hallways did have some blankets/sheets and trash bags outside of one room, but it was in the evening so housekeeping had likely been by and this was an occupied room where someone just threw their trash and dirty blankets outside. Just the above issue. The pool was decent, but towels weren’t stocked super well, and we were pushed to leave when a woman showed up with an incredibly inappropriate swim suit that showed everything but her nipples. My children and I felt uncomfortable and left.

Staff was helpful for first time here. Close to everything. Pool is beautiful

I had a quick overnight stay here and would stay again. Very reasonably priced.

Overall the room was great. The Only two issues I had was the stopper in the tub was inoperable (failed close). Also, lack of good quality daily maid service; towels, cleaning, etc.
