Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Southland-Matteson

I called the morning of my booking to confirm my arrival and request early check in. I was told they couldn't accommodate early check in for me. Later that day before I could check in, the hotel canceled my booking. The desk agent was extremely rude as well.

Ac made a loud sound that turned on at random times. When me and my family arrived after a 6 hr drive from Iowa my card was declined 4 times and my wife twice before they realized it was their system which we almost left but I was persistent because I knew I had money. We didn't have enough towels for my family we had to ask for extra each day of our stay. Last issue was the let out sofa didnt have any bedding for it. I enjoy Hampton very much normally a decent stay also an honors member but this time was different. For the price of the room i believe a lot of what I said should be considered on adjusting the room price. Thanks for your time

Nothing Booked a stay here for a concert because we are from out of town and they canceled on us same day and just said they didn’t have a room for us and they had to cancel. Proceeded to not help us find an alternative and everywhere was booked out because it was same day so we had no where to stay.

It’s was a very clean inviting hotel, great location around food places and stores. They cancelled my reservation after I called to let the front desk know that my plane was delayed in Atlanta. I was able to get the first open spot the next day and went to the hotel. The two staff members that were there had a oh well attitude and shifted the blame to me not flying in that night at 11:00. I showed them my phone where I talked to someone at 8:30 my time which was 7:30 Chicago time. The went in the back and came back out and said. The staff member said I told her I will be there at 11:00pm not 11:00 the next day. I had no where else to go, and sat in the lobby trying to find a hotel to stay at. I have never felt an experience let the one I had with this location. I will never return to this location again, will stay closer to Midway airport. Never had a problem with them before.

I stayed at this location while my daughter was moving into PNW dorms. The proximity to the highway was extremely convenient. The hotel is very well maintained, the room was clean and the bed comfortable.

This was a very nice stay. Location is great since it's around a lot of dept stores (Marshalls, Ross, Burlington) and fast food restaurants. This hotel also is very close to the interstate. The room was clean and shower water pressure was strong. They also have a mini fridge, small microwave, as well as a small keurig machine which was a bonus. The facility is pet friendly and the staff was very accommodating. They serve a hot breakfast every morning. The only negative is the beds felt like we were sleeping on a rock. If you're a firm mattress sleeper this may work well for you. For the plush mattress sleepers like me, I woke up sore by the morning. Overall, I was a satisfied customer and would definitely visit again.

They had a power outage and I couldn't check in had to find another hotel...the front desk worker was very rude and inconsiderate 😒...I will never go there again
