Staff was nice. Toilets were terrible. Super short. Manhood easily can get dipped into the water because of how bad it was. Plus maintenance was lack luster. I wouldn’t stay here again. People were nice, but there is better out there

Lindsay at the front desk has always been a great help! I stay there based on the cleanliness and the great experience with the staff!

I work as a front office manager for small boutique hotels and a huge skeptic when I stay in one. This trip was for my book launch and needed something very close to the event. When I arrived I was nit greeted right away. No acknowledgement. However, ot was smoothed once we got underway. The room has some wear and tear but it was just to sleep. Beds are not comfortable. The morning staff: there was a gentleman that was so kind and always greeting with a smile and good morning. Such a plus. The restaurant employee was not pleasant. Im from NYC so of course we're social. Yet this one morning before checkout I decided to get coffee. The unpleasantness was such a turn off.

For the first time in my Marriott experience I had a bad stay. I was only in Charlotte for one night. However I was treated so rudely and disrespectfully by one of the female staff members that it just ruined my whole stay.

Room great. Bed comfortable. Big TV lots of channels. Asked front desk to change to a non adjoining room. Employee said was unable because no other rooms of my type reserved available. Asked to put on a different type. Was unable because I reserved on a 3rd party app. The hotel was pretty empty.

Main thing to know is that the intersection this hotel sits at is difficult and loud. You’ll find ear plugs and a QR to a sleepy playlist at your bedside. Hotel is fine. Shows its age in a few places. But fine.

Great place to stay when in Matthews NC!

I would like a refund for this room couldn't take a shower the tub was stopped up and shower head was leaking water all over the floor. I call the front desk maintenance man came to fix he said it would take a long time before it ready so they moved us to another room, I enter the bathroom there were brown stains on the towels also the same issue with sink water wouldn't go down stopped up also maintenance man had to take the hold sink apart to unstoppable the sink, I have never stayed a courtyard by Marriott that was so messed up will never stay here again. I reach to the manager but he never call me back so I call him this morning he said if I want a refund to contact expedia.so nw I have to contact Expedia for a refund.

Mainly it’s location Better sound proofing. Sounds from the busy highway. Someone complained to the staff that we were to loud when we all were sitting in the back just talking socially. No screaming or yelling going on at all.

Was there for 4 days - was told we would receive cleaning services 1 day on and one day off - we didn't receive any room cleaning at all --- in order to get new clean towels we had to stop the cleaning staff in the hallway and request to get clean towels.. That is quite frustrating - since we paid for a service not received .

STARBUCKS COFFEE WAS THE ONLY OPTION.

The mattress are worn out and very uncomfortable . Very difficult to ride home with sore back and hip.

The pool was tiny and not at all like the photos. Bed was not comfortable and lumpy. Coffee was expensive at the bistro and in room coffee was terrible. Room was extremely tiny with a large couch that served no purpose. Ac was good and room and bathroom were clean.

The location was convenient which was a plus for me. The hotel was clean, staff were professional and friendly. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable!

Everything was clean and our stay was comfortable

Great room, staff very friendly,.. the bathroom in the lobby needed cleaning and didn’t appear to be cleaned within 12hours (the toilets).

We enjoyed the easy check in. We had time to relax by the pool. A few used towels lying around and none for us but laundry was very helpful. We then went for drinks at the bar and met with family. Staff was so friendly and pleasant to talk to. Room was very nice and clean.
