Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte/Matthews

The pool was tiny and not at all like the photos. Bed was not comfortable and lumpy. Coffee was expensive at the bistro and in room coffee was terrible. Room was extremely tiny with a large couch that served no purpose. Ac was good and room and bathroom were clean.

Great room, staff very friendly,.. the bathroom in the lobby needed cleaning and didn’t appear to be cleaned within 12hours (the toilets).

The motel needs some updating, very old,

We enjoyed the easy check in. We had time to relax by the pool. A few used towels lying around and none for us but laundry was very helpful. We then went for drinks at the bar and met with family. Staff was so friendly and pleasant to talk to. Room was very nice and clean.

The room was very clean and quiet - we didn't hear any outside noise or noise in other rooms. The breakfast the next morning was lacking a lot of options, so we did opt to go elsewhere to eat.

The location The lack of communication between the staff and booking.com . There was construction on our floor that was loud and noisy not to mention the smell made us nauseous. They agreed to refund our money because they were unable to relocate us to another floor. We have not received our money yet

Beautiful property inside and out truly. I love the Marriott hotels from courtyards to towns place suites. This property was phenomenal! Everyone was wonderful and kind. Literally would make sure we were taken care of. Ice machine next to our room was down, but they had another one on the opposite end of our room. They also were doing renovations so the paint on the walls weren’t finished in the hallways on the third floor. Also, our room 358 phone in the room didn’t work. Found out multiple rooms the phones weren’t working due to their renovations and being re-wired.

Property was clean and safe. It’s fine if you have a car, but otherwise there is really nothing to walk to for food, etc. and no sidewalks to walk on.

Was given a room near the exit door. I should have asked for a different room but decided to stick with it. As I feared, people came in and out all night slamming the door - not ideal for a god nights sleep. The hotel was fine, it was my fault for not trying to change rooms.

Slept so very well!!! Not sure if it was the bed and bedding or sheer exhaustion, but i havent slept any better in months!

It was busy. A couple of soccer teams were there. A couple of the boys were knocking on my door. They saw me on my balcony. I was at the hotel by myself. They told me at the desk i would get housekeeping. I was there 3 nights without housekeeping.

Never been to a hotel that charged for coffee but I suppose that's the new norm.

The menu was weak dose not meet the price point.
