The Nordic Inn

The motel had a cool, modern vibe. Recently renovated, I understood the industrial modern look the formerly rustic motel was going for. The furnishings & decor were updated, the quartz countertop in the bathroom was appreciated, the lighting and bedside tables on both sides were good. The mattress wasn’t great, the shower shell was damaged & shower curtain a bit dingy. The towels were thin and mine had a hole in it. There was a hole underneath the lock in our door. I could clearly see outside through the hole and I just wonder why some of these fairly small cosmetic issues haven’t been addressed.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. All we needed and the main town and lakefront area is about a 5-10 minute walk. Nothing, all good.

The stairs are uneven and hard to climb if you have any knee issues, no microwave, ice machine broke, you can only contact staff by phone most of the time and there is no phone in the rooms ( not everyone has cellphones). Very noisy.

Hard bed, old hard pillows. No staff in the office. No breakfast.

Liked the remodel and decor. The room was pleasant to stay. The hooks on wall system was very handy to use! Location was walking assessable to restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream and grocery store.

The sister property I stayed across the street 3 days prior You need to change out all the locks in your doors and make sure the deadbolt works because I could use a credit card to break into my room. I had multiple problems with securing my door and the staff came through. However it took some time out of my day in order to be there while they fixed it. Your property across the street is five star so I figured your property on the other side of the street would be good to go.

My sister and I love staying here while visiting the lake. Very comfortable and affordable hotel. Always clean. although I will say our tub was not quick to drain this time. However, we love it and are repeat customers. We chose this hotel over mildly cheaper accommodations. I will say our tub was not quick to drain this time.

Nice decor and clean. No view or nice location

It was updated and incredibly clean. The access was wonderful as it was within walking distance of a natural grocers, great restaurants, and the sweet little downtown of McCall. There were only a couple little things that were maybe a little concerning about the property, the access stairs were supported by blocks of wood as they were sagging. Maybe it’s a good time to do a little bit more Construction update where that’s concerned, but otherwise, it was fantastic.

The room was very pretty and the location is good The bed was not super comfortable and the sheets felt a little rough. There was no place to put your clothes other than in your suitcase and while that wasn’t a huge deal since I was only staying one night there was also no hangers to hang your clothes on only metal hooks

Great price, lovely decor, excellent shower, liked the flexibility of late check in and quick, easy check out. While the room was lovely and appeared to be clean, there was a terrible smell, like spoiled food. I sent a message about it, but despite frequent contact previously, I got no response.

It was different not having anyone at check-in, just our name on an envelope with the keys inside. Anyone could have taken the keys and our room. Fortunately a very safe community.

I liked the cost per night, the cleanliness and modern feel of the room. The heater was very noisy so we turned it off and were cold but it was better than the noise. The staff was pretty unaccessible.

Key cards took 4-5 times to open the door. We had 2 workers just walk in our room like 20 minutes after checking in. It was the same worker that checked me in so not really sure how it happened. They didn’t knock or anything. I had someone else try to open the door a second time like 20 minutes later. I had to call the facility and make sure we were in the right room. Walls are VERY thin, we could hear all of our neighbors conversations. The room looked clean but It didn’t feel clean. A couple hairs found on the sheets. Was very disappointed compared to the last time we stayed.

Room was freezing upon arrival, no rug or mat for bathroom and amenities were more for like 1 person and not 2. Maybe couple more shower towels, hand towels, and extra roll of toliet paper.

The ONLY thing that was a little lack luster was the water pressure in the shower. The height of the shower head was also on the short side. But it still was sufficient enough to use

High quality materials, appeared to be a recent remodel. Very well done. There was a smell. Needed an air freshener. While the chair was of high quality, it was too low for me to comfortably use it at the workstation/desk.
