Good place to stay in Medina

The worst breakfast included I've ever experienced.

I stayed one night and the hotel was just fine. Additionally there are at least two restaurants within walking distance. And one of them is a Brown Derby, which was quite tasty. Would have no problem staying at this hotel again in the future. No complaints.

Upon my arrival late at night after being awake and traveling since 3:30 AM, I was assigned to the wrong room with another couple occupying it. Room 106. Once reassigned to room 306 I discovered that the room had an unpleasant odor reminiscent of dog. The front desk staff was exceptionally unfriendly and unwelcoming. The bald black individual at the time of check-in appeared to be unfamiliar with the hotel’s procedures and took an excessive amount of time processing my check-in. By 11:30 PM, I was eager to access my room’s shower and obtain some rest. The hospitality team only left 3 shower towels for a room that occupies 4 people. The next morning I had to walk down to the check in desk to find a long haired black woman staring at the computer with a maroon scrubbed woman leaning against the wall. Was not greeted by either. After standing there for a minute or so I had to address the woman as we needed additional towels, she made it clear I was being intrusive. The next evening, when we returned late, we were locked out of our room. NOT DEAD BATTERIES just locked out and needed someone to let us in and rekey our keys. Another guest expressed dissatisfaction, as they had no air conditioning. Your breakfast stuff... evident that they were unfamiliar with the proper etiquette of greeting guests in the morning. I would strongly advise against recommending or staying at this hotel, as it has been the most unsatisfactory experience I have ever had.

Bryan was really nice at check in. He made sure to ask if there was anything we needed and handed us cookies and waters for the room. Our room was very clean. Would definitely stay again!

Good location. Clean rooms. Delicious continental breakfast. Dog-friendly. We enjoyed our stay at Hampton. Everything we would expect was there. Special thanks to the staff of this hotel for going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

There was a major problem with noise in the room. The room is on the second floor and apparently the pool must’ve been just below. There were children yelling and screaming continuously for many minutes right at bedtime after 8 o’clock. I called the front desk and was told that the pool would close at 10 that they couldn’t really do something about the noise but also if I would like to move to a different room, I could. At first, I didn’t want to bother to move, but then the noise just kept on it was unbelievably loud I’m not exaggerating and so I packed everything up and came down to the front desk and dropped off my room card. The clerk was busy with a customer and went to the pool and found that there was one man sitting in a chair and a pool full of children playing some of them had other children up on their shoulders and they were yelling and screaming, and laughing, of course but very, very loud. The sound just reverberated. You can imagine the acoustics around a pool. When I came to the door to speak to the man, he couldn’t hear well enough because of the noise we had to step outside the door a little bit and he said there really wasn’t anything he could do with that many children. I was given a key to a new room on the third floor and had a good night after that. I think there should be policies about rough housing and yelling at pools in hotels.
