Comfort Inn Memphis Airport West

Little worn down, but a solid hotel for a short stay by an airport.

The hotel was old, dirty, and smelled bad. The hallway carpets were stained. The pullout sofa was broken. The only thing I liked about it was that the suite we were in had two bathrooms.

When I showed it to the cleaning lady as we were leaving, she did not seem the least interested. 2) The help was eating at the Cafe bar in front of the check-in and then having another cleaning lady having to come in and cleaning after them that was not good optics at all 3) none of the of the machines worked in the cafeteria.The coffee maker didn’t work the waffle batter was empty and they added water to what was left, ultimately making the batter pretty runny. The breakfast was not good because everything seemed to be broken or out of oder. And we were told it just broke today. Staff was just not very friendly other than the man that was working the check-in desk. He was very good. By the way, we have stayed at a few of the comfort Inn along the way and all of them have been very nice. Your location is not up to standards.

This was the worst experience ever. The lobby was clean and neat but once I made it to the hall way it smelled like mold and mildew. The first room the ac didn’t work nor the tv. The night desk clerk was nice. He switched me to another room but it was nearly the same the ac barely worked, the toilet was stopped up and the tv didn’t work. My original stay was suppose to be 4 days but I checked out the same day. The guy at the front desk said he was the General Manager I told him my concerns. He didn’t care at all - all he said was I should’ve switched rooms. I told him we’ve already switched rooms. Instead of giving me a discount for inconvenience he added a fee because I checked out early.

Another hotel provided a horrible experience what’s wrong Memphis? Can’t y’all get it together? I would not send anyone to this hotel for any reason.

The carpet smell mold. Pillows are too small.

Our room smelled musty and our clothes felt damp the next morning. I chalked it up to you get what you pay for.

The separating door did not have a knob that closed to separate rooms and breakfast was quite limited. Otherwise, accommodation was as expected.

It was good value close to Gracelands. A Little too far from the city.

Good Breakfast Wasn’t told Elevator not working until checked in. Didn’t have Bookings right. Put us on 3rd floor. Staff not friendly. Manager rude

The staff help me out to try another room 3 times The Air Conditioner in the 3 rooms was very noisy and not maintained

Even though the room was clean, it did have an odor. The TV came on but was frozen. Staff were all amazing on every shift. Breakfast was full continental. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. It was probably the most quiet hotel I have been to in a long time, especially considering the part of town it's in. I was concerned when we arrived, but not upset when I left.
