Wingate by Wyndham Memphis East

No plastic glasses. No regular coffee, only decaf. Not sure if there was breakfast.

The front desk staff was nice. There ware BUGS in the sink so we called down to the desk. They came up and sprayed with Raid but did not do a good job. We found a ROACH crawling up the wall and we killed it. It made my skin crawl. I would not even eat the breakfast because I am sure there were other bugs around. I could not leave fast enough. Management never even offered to take anything off our bill. We will never stay there again.

Toilet seat was hanging on by a thread & almost came completely off when you sat on it. There were NO cups or glasses in room. The ice bucket was full of water from previous guest. There were no plastic bags to line the ice bucket. The shower head was broken & could not be adjusted. I am appalled the Windhaym Corp allows their name to be associated with such a poor property. It is rated a 3 star hotel on Expedia. IT IS NOT. Barely a 1 star. Makes me not trust Expedia in the future.

Really clean and tidy and well priced for an overnight stay. There was an ICE raid outside the front of the hotel in the morning as we awoke.

Breakfast was a little cold. But besides that the place was great

What a night. If you like slow car street racing, this is your place. Clapped out mustangs and retired chargers abound on the back roads next to this hotel. The only saving grace is that some of the truly slow cars were drown out by the failing bearingin the room ac.

The key card to the room didn’t work three separate times. The gal at the counter was super sweet and apologetic, but I had to go up and down and up and down and up and down the elevator three separate times with all my luggage before finally she went up herself to fix the door. Also, there were bug droppings by the coffee maker, the toilet and the sink. Everything else was standard/sufficient.

Checked in around 11 pm large police presence in area a lot of sirens. Broke down security cars in parking lot. Got to room immediately started seeing tiny roaches in the shower around the door on the bed large one on the ceiling. We stayed due to exhaustion but immediately left as soon as sun rose.

The lady at the front desks was extremely rude. It was so bad 2 guests canceled their stay before I had to do the same. Honestly just go somewhere else.

The hotel is clean, but the rooms leave much to be desired. The shower head was broken. Light bulbs were either missing or burnt out. The desk chair was broken. And the breakfast was downright awful; beginning with a coffee machine that was either out of coffee or was broken. The neighborhood is also pretty sketchy. I witnessed a high-speed pursuit and police chase of a suspect down the street and through the parking lots of nearby hotels while walking my dog. It was pretty terrifying.

Breakfast is always the same thing. Gets pretty boring eating the same thing for 3 days. Should offer or include bacon, waffles and bananas.

Second room was good. No regular coffee in the dining area. Did have coffee available in the rooms Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I'm handicap they made sure that I had a walk-in shower it also had a shower chair and the first time I've seen a hotel that had your body wash or shampoo everything on the wall that you needed plenty of towels and washed clothes it was a great day and every time I go to Memphis I'll make sure I stay here we didn't need the breakfast we just stayed in they gave us a late check out at 12:00 very helpful

The breakfast needed work. No coffee available, only decaf. A hotel With no coffee is just silly. The breakfast was ok but most items ran out by 8:30 am. Several options were broken as well. The fitness gym was also closed and I don't believe they even have a pool. Not that it would matter, we were just there for a quick sleep before we hit the road again. Okay to stay here for a quick sleep but I wouldn't stay again

This place for the price? Okay I guess. Far from good. First. Freezer on the fridge was so full of ice. The door to it couldn't close at all. Not even close. Second very gross. R.R. sink was backed up with hair? It took a very long time to drain. Third. Have photos to show on this one. Curtain rod on shower was hanging down. Brackets where broken from the walls. Could not keep it from getting water every where. Complained to desk. All she said was she was sorry. ...
