This is an older facility that has been fairly recently redone. I was there for a single night and it was fine for that. The breakfast room is rudimentary and small. In my room, the bathroom seem to be built for children. That is the sink and countertop or way below my waist and I’m only 5 feet seven. I thought the shower stall could use a grab bar because the floor could be very slippery. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were too high for my liking, but it was an overnight room and at that it was quite satisfactory.

The room was clean and comfortable. The continental (self service)breakfast was adequate. Plenty of restuarants within walking distance. The reception area is always staffed. The hair dryer didn't work very well.

Clean rooms/ facility. Pet friendly. Staff were nice. Nice area close to food, gas stations, shopping. My only two complaints are not enough parking, so if you find a spot, try not to leave and the walls are thin. You hear people stomping and dropping stuff upstairs, people in and out slamming their room doors all night long

Room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, staff was responsive and helpful, beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and well stocked. Parking was plentiful and the location was convenient. No matter the setting the fridge was not keeping food cold enough. We had to throw out some food, home cooked by a friend, that we had been looking forward to eating. The room we were in was facing the highway and overnight there was noise from trucks that would certainly disturb a light sleeper (I am a sound sleeper and noticed it). If I stayed again I would request a different room location.

For a Super 8, this was one of the better ones! The room was clean, tv, microwave, etc. worked. Updated room had laminate wood flooring, bathroom had been updated as well. The owner personally tidied up the breakfast room while we were there, and the breakfast itself wasn't bad at all. Great bargain and comfortable as one could hope for. Fresh towels and room service every day. The housekeeper sprayed room freshener to try and make things smell fresh as well. Our room did have a lingering smell of smoke even though we were in the non-smoking area. The housekeeper did a good job of spraying room freshener to try and make it better though. Bedspread had three cigarette burns in it.

The breakfast had no good fruit, no cream cheese.

A good place to stay when visiting Mentor. The room I stayed in was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and amenities like fridge and microwave were there for us. The front desk staff member was friendly and helpful during check-in. There was complimentary continental breakfast included with the stay.

I made reservations for 1 room and 2 beds. The room had 1 king. To get 2 beds I had to take a suit with a 65 00 dollar up charge. There was loud banging noise, like doors slamming all night. The phone in the room did not work. Beds were poor.
