Quality Inn Merced Gateway to Yosemite

This hotel should not be allowed to operate is in reality terrible condition. The elevator was literally falling apart te ceiling was exposed. The place smells like your grandmothers room. I can’t believe Expedia would associate itself with such a poor quality place like this. There was not TV available no signal. I called the front desk but they never came up to fix it. What a waste of my money.

The only thing to like was the staff The room was dirty and the towels had an awful smell. There was human hair everywhere.

The bed was made, comfy, and the AC was easy to control. Free breakfast was delicious and the room was clean and spacious. Neighbors weren't too loud and the water pressure and amount of towels given were great. Our bathroom door in room 112 was completely broken and opening/closing it was a huge struggle. We couldn't lock it most of the time- limiting privacy. Room service also didn't clean our room and the phone outlets were extremely dirty.

The first room.was filthy n had bug in the bed. Looked like blood on the floor , switched to a 3rd floor room no elevator n I'm handicapped. That room was better but still bad..TV only 1 channel no working battery in remote, tub shower head sticking out of wall n dirty with white scum on it toilet kept running all night, the fan in bath was very loud sounded like a lawn mower,no screens in the sink or tub drains don't drop your ring. The shower was dirty n surround walls cracked the furniture is old n beat up the stairwell...3 flights, was filthy n pulling away from walls scary. The only nice thing was staff. The breakfast, had to wait over 10min for coffee, the boiled eggs were turning brown how old were they? The place needs to be torn down n rebuilt.

I am double charged . The hotel system is horrible.

The price I was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken there is no pool

I was able to feel the box springs of the bed. In the morning in the breakfast room there was no hot breakfast. The coffee was so nasty, it tasted like mud!

We love it here, the staff is absolutely amazing, the rooms are very clean and there's is no rift ready hanging around.Everyone is so he helpful and always with a smile on their face. (The vibe here says they genuinely enjoy working here) We will continue to visit here, I don't think we will go anywhere else again.

Room smells like urine and the room furniture was really old, restroom low maintenance. I havevto request a different room and it was supper price. $322 the night a 5 star horel price but the hotel was a 2 star hotel. Never again and I will not recommen this website.

Awful- poorly maintained. Suspicious characters. Non-functional amenities and bathroom issues. I slept in my clothes above the bedding. I had a multi-night reservation and cancelled after 1 night.

The room was outdated,, old and stinky, old outdated bathroom with old loud fan in bathroom, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Located right off of highway 99, it's a great location for Merced. The staff were wonderful...very friendly, extremely helpful, and very pleasant all around. The room was just about perfect. Although I've never been a fan of motel waffles, they have a pretty solid continental breakfast that does the job well. No complaints.

The location was close to where I needed to be The Bathroom was a little small and claustrophobic. Our remote control for the television did not power on. The toilet was slow to flush. Also they advise a breakfast which is very scarce and basically self serve. Was not provided on one day.

The big problem is that I found a bedbug on me later the afternoon after I stayed here. Room 315. Never coming back here again.
