Honestly room was clean. Comfortable bed. A/C was great. Downfall was the tub. Gross would be the word. Plenty of hot water. F- to the Staff. 4 day stay room never got cleaned. Asked but never got done. Gave bed sheets 3rd night to front desk. They had no replacements. 11:30 pm finally got one sheet ?? Will not stay again!! Would not discount or refund any cost. Would give me discount next time. What a joke!!! If I was hotel.com I wouldn't put them on my page.

This hotel is still under construction while the room we were given was clean and pretty nice. The bed was hard. The television did not work. We went to the office, but it was never fixed when we got there. We were charged $100 deposit and and it was not refunded that they said we smoked me and my boyfriend don’t even smoke. They kept our deposit refused to give it back so don’t stay at this hotel in Merrillville. There are many other nicer friendlier hotels in the area.

Awesome and safe place to stay. Great staff

Comfortable bed . Quiet environment. Decent breakfast Nice size TV except that the signal goes out during rain storms ( Dish antenna).

The room started off great with a nice layout & updates in the not too distant past…until I discovered that both the sink & tub did not drain properly. The hallway smelled like pot in the morning. I had to turn on the waffle maker myself & discovered almost no batter available. Both the morning & afternoon staff chose to help someone behind me instead of focusing on my needs during my transactions. It was disconcerting to not feel valued as a customer. They were quick to respond to my husband’s concerns about a family who had been hanging around in their car for hours, coming inside for drinks & restroom breaks.

Nicely renovated room. Good breakfast.

Within the first 10 minutes of being in the first room a cockroach crawled on the bed. There were rust marks all over and water damage on the ceiling. Crumbs were all over the floor and things previous guests had left remained on the floor. The room was clearly not cleaned. Thankfully they allowed us to switch rooms; however, this room had just as much water damage and the light was barely hanging onto the wall. Listing pictures need to be updated.

I did not like being charged a $100 deposit on room. They had my cc on file so no need for deposit

It was quiet. The previous occupants had smoked in the room. I did not complain because I spent most of my time with relatives.

Sorry.

Almost nothing. The poor receptionist is doing double or triple duty and she is to be commended for the effort, but that just is not enough Breakfast is not refilled as the receptionist is doing that too. Rooms are sketchy and not at the level of the price paid. Our was missing even soap.

Breakfast was slow and shortages. Front desk person had to cook also and run the desk. It was a mess.We waited and waited

Beds, pillows, & linens very clean and extremely comfortable, good shower head. Construction dust on fixtures, visible cobwebs in the open running from the AC down to the floor. Very sloppy paint reno - paint all over picture frames, big glop of paint streaking down shower into tub. No handtowels, washcloths, or bath mat provided.

Musky smell when you walked in. Didn’t bother with the breakfast. Towels were dirty with yellow and dirt stains

Breakfast the pancake mix for the waffle machine was spoiled. The fire alarms were chirping all night. There was hair all over the shower. There were people smoking in the hallway. This was probably the worst hotel stay I’ve ever stayed at.

In our room, there was a small rust colored stain on the bedspread typical of bed bugs and I had a bite on torso. The shower curtain was heavily stained and the bedside tables were not wiped clean. The next AM there were large ants on the breakfast counter. And the food was old. Also, from the hotel's rewards program, I got a phone call to visit a timeshare demo afterward. Staying away from this place and this brand.
