New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway

Location, views are perfect.

The hotel was located in a quiet and peaceful area. The staff were polite but disorganized.

The service was excellent from the valet to the front desk to room service no complaints. I’ll stay there again.

Nice hotel but had to pay for parking

I arrived on Sunday, 05/10. Upon my arrival, the attendant informed me that my booking was actually for the following Sunday, 05/17. I asked them to transfer it and I was informed that they do not transfer reservations and that I would need to call the booking company. I reached out to "Best Hotel Deals" to no avail as they were unavailable. I was forced to make a second booking with "Hotels.com" at a much higher rate. My overall stay went from $806 to $1400+. When I was finally able to get in contact with "Best Hotel Deals", they informed me that they reached out to Marriott and Marriott informed them that they would be making no refund, not even a partial. "Best Hotel Deals" informed me that I would need to reach out to Marriott. Well, I have and it has been fruitless as they do not accept calls or return messages. Moving forward, as a company, we will remove Marriott from our available lodging list which is unfortunate, as the Metairie location is only minutes from one of our corporate offices.

Beautiful view of the lake, short distance to my daughters house, decent priced menu, ease if valet parking My shower handle fell off, the water got super hot but i was able to jump out and turn it off. Was surprised not to have qtips, cotton balls, toothbrush in the bathroom

Style Wasn’t the room I booked. Moved to another room. Still wasn’t correct. Then it was a lower quality room. No microwave. No refrigerator. Ac barely worked. Blew heat and ac at the same time.

Staff is friendly, will go out of your way to make your stay amazing. We got an upgraded room with a view of the lake. Bed was comfortable, room was clean but the carpet had bad stains in it. I would definitely recommend to replace carpet.

The property is clean, safe and professionally managed. It is a gem in Metairie!!! I won’t stay anywhere else!!!!

Convenient location for where I needed to be, nice for the most part, nice view of the city in the distance Parking is weird, no microwave and no fridge makes for an inconvenience when you have meds and such that need to be refrigerated. Also tv and stand should be on the wall not blocking the window view.

The building is falling apart and carpets are literally pulling up…I almost tripped numerous times in the hallways over rolls of lifted carpet that is a major risk. There is no pool…in fact I had a terrible view of a broken down pool that was dirty and empty…disgusting…evidently there is no plan on having a pool built for guest use and the pool I had to stare at is part of a seperate health club that used to be included in the stay. Such a disappointing property and def not representative of a Marriott reputation.
