Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach by IHG

Everything was 10/10!! However I only would’ve liked being a little close to the beach. It was only 7 min away, so everything was still very enjoyable.

We stayed here for a quick anniversary getaway. The room was great, clean and had all the necessary amenities. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Service was great, food was ok. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The glass of wine daily was great. Bartenders were very nice. The bathrooms in the double rooms were very small, no celling fan which made bathrooms extra steamy. There's only one shower at the pool. The restaurant was not open after lunch. It was not a full service bar for the pool. A lot at the hotel was wear and tear. the pictures looked better than the hotel in person.

Staff is so incredibly accommodating. Text your request for towels, etc and everything appears. There is a shuttle that takes you anywhere within the South Beach area. Barry rocks and took my daughter and I to/from the beach and was so kind and personable. You also get towels and chairs all set for you at the beach. You can pay an extra $30 or so for an umbrella. Another hotel rents the umbrella and chairs for $79 plus tax. Rooftop pool is gorgeous and so relaxing. There is some construction in the area but did not impact our stay at all. Hotel is super conveniently located. We did not eat at the restaurant which is open for breakfast but that is another amenity. We walked across the street and picked up items from Trader Joe’s and ate at Pura Vida for lunch most days. Tons of choices on Collins and Ocean Drive. Another employee ( Kevin?) suggested a tour service so we enjoyed that one day and all was arranged for us. Thank you Daniela, Angelica, Giana, Barry, and all other staff.

Check in was such an easy process and was quick. Staff provided superb customer service, were friendly and professional. They have e-bikes available, complimentary beach chairs, shuttle to Miami Beach, complimentary wine/sangria daily, and 24 hr gym access. The room was clean and cute. The only issue I had was the view!

Amazing guest service at hotel!!!

I booked this hotel because of their pet policy. I was very satisfied with overall experience. The room wasn’t ready by 4PM. We waited till around 4.20PM for the room. The room was very spacious and cute! The hotel offered free e-bike for 2 hrs which was great. We biked to the beach which was like 6 minutes down the road. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the hotel just wished it was closer to the beach besides that great experience but the incidental fee being $150 a night is kind of absurd
