Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell-Downtown

We were checked in by a Mr. Alex (front desk supervisor) and he was very nice and helpful. He really assisted us at check in. This was our second stay here and I really like this hotel. Facilities are nice and clean and within walking distance of so many beautiful places in Brickel.

The lobby area is a wonderful place to hang out in. Beautiful bar, big screen TV, pool table, swimming pool, patio with outdoor furniture, etc. Highly recommend! One of the nicest and cleanest hotels we have stayed at. Shuttle van to the cruise port was excellent and only 12 dollars.

Everything was great, a very small issue with in room safe, put some valuables in, came back, it wouldn't open, probably batteries,,im only stating this because after calling front desk within 5 minutes maintenance was there, open safe, changed batteries, all good, definitely a positive comment to a simple fix

The hotel is perfect for an overnight stay before a flight. Everything you need is right on the premises. They even offer a complimentary happy hour with snacks, and the made-to-order breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, the front desk needs improvement. Through Booking.com, I paid for early check-in and late checkout, but the front desk did not treat either one as a paid service or guarantee that they would be honored. We were eventually able to check in a little early, but it was not what we expected after paying for it. We had the same issue with the late checkout. Additionally, when our room was ready, they automatically charged the card I had on file with Booking.com for incidentals. This was not the card I wanted to use, and no one asked me before charging it. After much discussion, they reversed the charge and recharged it to my intended method of payment. We did not charge any incidentals to the room, yet it took 10 days for the credit to be returned. The charge had already posted to my bank account, and when I called the hotel, I was told it could take approximately five more business days to receive the credit. That is unacceptable. If I didn’t use any of the incidental funds, why was the hotel holding my money and reimbursing me much later? Not good.
