InterContinental Miami by IHG

I do a bit of traveling, and Intercontinental Miami was wonderful. Went to Vegas this year and one would think that a tourist town of Las Vegas would have 5-star accommodations. Instead, I found Las Vegas has deteriorated into a filthy place and seedy environment. It was not always this was, but it appears Covid has taken its' toll on Las Vegas. I share this because I assumed all resort destinations had experienced similar results from Covid. Not true. Intercontinental Miami was simply fantastic. The staff was wonderful. All were polite, respectful, and very accommodating. The grounds and accommodations were immaculate. My wife and I will return! It was so very refreshing to visit a city and stay in a hotel that, combined, demonstrated an environment I thought was lost to a deteriorating society.

It’s a beautiful property where you can watch the boats in the harbor or rent one and it’s across from the park. All issues we had were quickly addressed. The only thing I didn’t like was as soon as we took a water from the mini bar an attendant came into our room without an invitation to replace it (lock your doors). It’s getting charged to the room, so she could have waited on replacement and the words “come in.”

I had an excellent experience from beginning to end. The service was outstanding, and everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to answer all of my questions, made sure I understood everything, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. It's rare to find a team that is so welcoming and dedicated to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them and will definitely be returning. Thank you all for the exceptional service!

This place was good in every way. Walking distance to the mall and something to eat. This place is good to stay for the night before your cruise ship arrives.

Beautiful location right on the bay and adjacent to the park. Walkable to several restaurants and bars. Not too far from the airport so it is worth a little drive for a lovely experience.

Also for a 4-5 star hotel not to provide complimentary water in a city as warm as Miami in summer seemed like penny pinching given the 18% gratuity on everything.

The property was beautiful and the rooms were very clean. Restaurants inside were great. The location was wonderful. The bay view room we had was perfect. What is not good is the parking. They force you to pay hotel fees on top of the valet even if you don’t want it or else you have to wake up every 5 hrs to renew paid parking nearby.

These beds and pillows were some of the softest and most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, and the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful!

Entire experience was amazing.

Everything from the staff to the amenities was perfect. The only complaint I had was the toilet did not work properly.
