Reviews

the hotel lives on its past grace. it is ok but not ideal for a traveller used to real Luxury.
-
Location was amazing The fact that it was closing forever in a few days
-
BUT Slow service at the bar, so much that Inleft without ordering my cappucino in the morning
-
The hotel is being torn down in a couple of months apparently and the facilities are in bad shape. As an example: the fitness center was closed for a sales center for the new building and is now basically 4 hotel rooms with random equipment. Some staff are great but you definitely get the sense that many of them have already checked out. Definitely not a premium, 5 star experience. Tons of better options in Miami.

La Mare Restaurant was extremely excellent No coffee machine in my suit

The room was a good size, the bathroom had a soaking tub and a separate shower. Our room had a beautiful water view. The staff was very friendly and the valet provided a great sandwich shop recommendation. The mo lounge is on the ground floor lobby; I was expecting either a rooftop pool or bar like many other Miami hotels.

Staff are very courteous and hospitable. I was given a nice upgrade when I had to change rooms due to an issue with the first room. Nice walking trails along the waterfront. 20% service charge on all checks. Tax on top of the service charge. Tips expected on top of that. Rooms are getting dated. Broken glass on the balcony - narrow miss with bare feet. No more private beach - now a sales center for condos.

Beautiful location and facilities. The restaurant is very busy and very noisy. Difficult to get a reservation.

One of the premier hotels in Miami. Amazing views of Brickell and is perfectly situated in the Brickell Key. Love the pool and all the ametities of the hotel. Nothing

Location
-
It’s ok tourist class hotel but no luxury. Beds fine and spacious rooms with big bathrooms and bathtub. Not The same standard as Mandarin Oriental in other places like Bangkok.
-
This was our second stay in Mandarin Oriental and we did not go wrong. We enjoyed our short stay from the moment we checked in - Alejandra was great. She helped my mother check in and assisted us on everything she could. Breakfast was delicious. The location and the view from our rooms were awesome.

Incredible view of downtown from the room, close enough to be convenient but without the traffic noise. Slow service in the reception cafe
-
everything went well, staff was friendly and the food was great. I had a room with a great view. I did not like that Service Charges were added to breakfast bill etc,
