Our room was great. They were going through some construction so we got upgraded it to a suite. Last year when we were there they offered a free complimentary breakfast but is not available now. Also last year they offered parking and now they charge you $50 per day. Bikes were available for guests to use last year, but not this year. I know they are saving mo ey not having staff there, but it doesn't always work.

Great location.

There is no staff which is no big deal but after booking you learn that parking is extra and costs more than the airport. The neighborhood is loud all night and the hallway is noisy as you will hear every guest come and go. Constant sleep interruptions. Interesting concept but not working in this location.

Door handle to bathroom falls off. I think the door itself needs to be planed as it drags on the floor.

Room looks very new and modern, very well equipped, everything works perfectly. I had also very nice balcony.

The hotel itself was nice, a staff member was helpful during check in on the property. Unfortunately, we were told we would have a reserved parking spot (we agreed to pay the $50) but there was no available parking. Drove around for an hour looking for parking nearby, and most places only allow up to 3 hour parking so we were reliant on having a reserved spot. Overall, good stay but the parking situation was frustrating.

The Rover is definitely the place to stay if you plan on visiting Calle Ocho. The Rover is within walking distancing, in a safe neighborhood, and conveniently located to almost anything you may need. The Rover has easy directions for access to your room and outside doors, the establishment is clean, quiet, and has a relaxing outside seating area. This was my third stay at The Rover and I definitely plan to stay there again.

The cleaning staff needs to clean the floors of the room better. Variety of past shoe prints on wood. Shower had left over female bodily fluids. To be fair I didn’t notice at first because it blended in with the pattern of the floor but then the water hit it and it was clear. There was a nice glass out on the balcony filled with old cigarettes and water. I do smoke but would never use a drinking glass as an ashtray. I always use a closable half empty water bottle. Was nervous about bed but it was clean and nice and comfortable. The location is great. Very spacious king suite with generous balcony. Would strongly consider staying again. Specifically Room 9.

This was a super weird hotel. I got in late so it was self service, so I never interacted with anyone. Even when I called, I couldn’t speak to anyone, just a robot. It was really such a strange concept and made me feel like I was intruding on somewhere I didn’t belong. Wouldn’t recommend.

The Rover is not a bandb (no breakfast). It's one of those virtual hotels without a staff except a maid in the morning who will make up your room and show you how to close the black out curtain in your room, which, like everything else in the place, is controlled by wireless wi-fi buttons you'll never find unless you're a computer wizz. It took me aboiut 45 minutes to finally get the code that let me in the front door after signing my life away (they assume you're a criminal who's come to steal whatever what you don't destroy). This is really a real estate play in Little Havana that's gentrifying and becoming chic. No staff.

Check-in was a nightmare
