Had a misunderstanding with parking in their lot. Needed to call to be let in and was hung up on by the young lady at the desk. Our room was hot. Never got a temperature below 75 degrees in our room even with the air all the way turned down. Saw several staff members and was never acknowledged even after I said hello. Also was charged 25.00$ for two pops and a beef stick. I think this hotel could do better. This was our second stay at this hotel. First one wasn’t the greatest but thought we’d try again. Second time proved we should have went with our first instinct.

The location of this property originally drew us in with a child attending the campus right here you can’t beat the convenience. The on site restaurant, Starbucks and chick fil an are an added perk. There are several close by perks as well like Walgreens, the metro stop and the stadium. The hotel has alway been clean and cozy, the lobby is actually an amazing spot to study or read or visit with friends. The staff is so nice and helpful with directions and recommendations. The food at the on - site restaurant The Beacon is always amazing. Will continue to stay at this hotel whenever possible

Liked the location and the options for food and drink in the neighboring blocks. Did not like the room. It smelled. Not sure when the carpet was last cleaned. Sheets were stiff and rough. The bathroom tub had some poor repair jobs. Did not find a microwave. Overpriced for what we got.

The hotel is exceptionally located for anything at the U. The staff was super helpful and allowed us a great late checkout that made our day

Got charged an extra $54 in gratuity for breakfast when I didn’t really pay that amount. Whoever was my server on that morning must have added it in. Considering the over $3k I spent here on 3 separate trips, it was disappointing. And of course there was as usual ‘breakfast is not really included ‘ issue even though you paid through Expedia already. $22 per person is covered which seems quite ok unless you have staff that write in extra tips.
