Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Downtown Minneapolis by IHG

7 of us came down (2 adults/5 young children) for SummerSlam weekend. A block away from the convention hall, where they had the summer slam superstore was extremely convenient. Not even a 15 minute walk to U.S. Bank Stadium. They had an awesome breakfast and the pool/hot tub is always a plus :)

Clean, affordable, onsite parking, and close to amenities.

Unassuming on the outside but clean and welcoming inside! It's a great location and easy walk to the Minneapolis convention center. Friendly staff at the desk.

We had a great stay. The room was clean and larger than most. The fitness room had good quality aerobic equipment with some free weights. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The breakfast was better than most with eggs sausage and potatoes. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The Staff were excellent. The room mostly was good as a utilitarian room, but see below. The location as such was convenient to conference centers, but it was very loud outside at times. Last night, there was drag racing outside. This morning, from 5 am to 7 am, passing vehicles kept me awake. The AC worked but not well and it was noisy. The refrigerator in the room was very good. The room safe did not work because it was not plugged in and we physically could not plug it in. The tv remote was limited to channels and volume, so there was no guide, no ability to use streaming services, and no ability to switch input channels to use an HDMI connection. There are no coffee makers in the rooms, only in the lobby.

We stayed here 5 nights for an event in the Convention Center. This was a great location. Our room was kept spotless. The breakfast was very good and the employees were wonderful, especially Tameka who made sure we had a nice room with a working safe. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very helpful with check-in parking, laundry and breakfast. The breakfasts each day were wonderful.

Great hotel to stay in the cities!

Our room smelled like wet dog but other than that room was in good shape and pretty close to a good price point for being in the city. It is about 45 min walking distance outside to US Bank stadium.

It is safe and secure for downtown Minneapolis. Wasn't noisy or anything out of the order around the place. Area was clean and well lit for night time as well. It was a great stay

good location for what i had travelled for. milk at breakfast on saturday and sunday was spoiled. Said something to ladies attending to breakfast on saturday. She showed me the date on the jug which was june 16,2026. No matter what the date was on the jug the milk was still spoiled. I just went without
