I would have left if I had not prepaid. Room was not ready at 5pm for check in and staff couldn’t tell me when the room would be ready. There was only warm water in the shower and maintenance could not get it to hot.

We like this hotel a great deal. Funky, comfortable, in the midst of everything Mpls has to offer. A few maintenance upgrades needed in our room (only scalding hot water in the shower, i.e.), but great hotel overall.

Historical building, great experience all around. Perfect location for enjoying the best of downtown Minneapolis, very well trained staff, mini bar was affordable.

Suite seemed worn down, lots of wear and tear to walls, furniture. No hot water, staff no help, was just told, "sorry".

Overnight parking with the valet was $65. Also the bathroom door did not close all the way.

From the moment I first walked into the hotel I was greeted by valet and the receptionist(s). I was met with kindness. Both the exterior and interior of the building was magnificent. My room was phenomenal and the access to the Observation Deck, Prohibition Bar, and Living Room was amazing. Such an extraordinary experience and I will more than likely be staying at the W Minneapolis - The Foshay again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

No free WiFi, had to pay an early check in charge, electricity went out and it had to be reset! Didn’t like that there were items in the fridge when we wanted to use it.

On arrival we found a dirty sock in our room and the hot water didnt work in our shower. Aside from that 10/10.
