Always a great stay
-
Friendly staff, good downtown location. Large room with darkening shades and comfy beds, gym a little better than most. Parking $38/day. Even rooms face street so better view but can be loud, hospital 2 blocks away so sirens woke us up during the night with even numbered rooms.
-
Excellent hotel with a lot of amenities in the surrounding areas, very clean and glamorous!
-
It was actually cool
-
Love the large rooms. Hotel is clean and staff was kind.

Great!
-
Great hotel. My 2nd time staying there and enjoyed it. The King room was nicer than a double, but still very nice.
-
The staff were friendly The bed linens had a musty smell and the room was not soundproof. You can hear cars all night making it difficult to sleep.
-
Too old. Everything is falling apart
-
Beautiful room and the cute little bags of ice in the freezer drawers is brilliant. The up grade to the corner suite was well worth it. Definitely would stay here again.
-
We stayed close to elevators but it was quiet. Our room was very clean. Room service every day. Everything was GREAT! We would stay again!
-
The room was very spacious, really well laid out with great storage, lobby had a great vibe and pool table. Everything we needed in a convenient location downtown.
-
The room was very nice, staff were friendly. The breakfast situation was confusing. We had a credit, but weren't sure where to use it, and the food we ended up getting at the Joliet House was mediocre at best. The room service breakfast we had the next morning was a bit better, but my coffee was cold and everything was overpriced. Also not a very nice area to stay in.
-
Nice property good food very close to everything we wanted to do downtown

Loved the staff and really enjoyed our stay.

My overall experience was very positive. I would definitely stay there again. I wish that the Hotel staff had explained to me that the hotel was connected to our major indoor shopping area, which I only discovered on my last day there, but would have made my stay more pleasant to know from the beginning. This is actually a major attraction of the hotel and they are underselling the Hotel by not telling guests about it.

Convenient, roomy, great place to stay in Downtown Minneapolis. Great for family. Rooms a fantastic size.
-
As someone who travels frequently for work, that level of service is invaluable. The team went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and seamless. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and will absolutely stay here whenever I’m in the city.

I was sitting in the lobby, stitching and looking at my phone and watching World Cup replays after my kids went to bed so I didn’t have to sit in the dark hotel room. The cleaning guy came through around 2 AM and mopped and wiped the tables and took out the garbage and vacuumed and didn’t seem to mind that I was there. About an hour later a rude staff member told me the lobby was closed and that I would have to leave. I replied that I was sorry I didn’t realize hotel lobbies closed. She said yes for cleaning - which had already been done. I’ve never had this issue at any other hotel and often sit in common spaces doing my own thing not bothering anybody or needing anything at all hours of the night.

We loved our stay at The Marquette. Our room was large, clean, and very well furnished. (The bed was super comfortable.) We drank in the bar while watching a World Cup game, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room housekeeper was super cooperative and also very friendly. The gym is large and well-furnished. It is really a top-flight place to stay. The hotel's location in the middle of the downtown business district is both a plus and a minus. Access from the airport (by light rail) was easy, and getting to other parts of the city was a breeze. But on the whole, an office district is still rather sterile.
