The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was the fact that the hotel restaurant imposed a mandatory 20% gratuity. Food there was good in the service was excellent but that was a kind of a sticking point for me. Everything was wonderful and I'm going to stay there again but I do take issue when somebody forces a gratuity on me. I did eat there and the service I had was excellent at the bar when I had dinner. But imposing a mandatory gratuity does cross the line.

There was a terrible sour sewage smell in the lobby. There was a similar smell in the hallway of the floor that I was on. There was a different but also bad solvent like smell in my room that gave me a headache in 15 minutes. I had to leave. The young man at the front desk acted like he had no idea there was a smell in the space he was working in, but didn't ask any questions and quickly cancelled my reservation. They're not supposed to be charging me as I could not stay and had to find alternative accommodations.

The staff was nice, the place was convenient. No many options on the food.

Parking should have been free. But I did like the parking area. It was enclosed and felt safe. Room was clean, nice bathroom. It definitely could have been cooler in the room. Staff was very nice and helpful especially the late night staff. We needed extra towels and they had no problem bringing them to our room. Overall pretty decent experience.

We had a King Suite which I thought would be great since our teenage daughter was staying with us for a couple of the nights and could sleep on the sofa bed. However, there was no door dividing the two spaces which was a little odd. If this matters, ask the front desk for a Suite with a door. There is a great exercise room if you lift weights or want cardio equipment. I wish there had been weights that were less than five pounds and yoga mats so I could have taken advantage of the space.

Awful front desk staff and hotel in general. Rude stuff and not helpful. Not kind. Not polite.

Absolutely beautiful and room was spacious!

We couldn't find the hair dryer, they gave one fast. Finally the original hair dryer was found in the drawer inside the bathroom. We like the room is big. The ammenities should be asked. Slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste were not provided in the room if we did not ask. Then we realized there was no shower cap either, but we were too lazy to ask. The buffet breakfast menu was exactly the same for two days in a row, so we decided to go outside on the third day to find breakfast. The rest is all good. The staffs are friendly, especially in the morning. We got everything we came here for, so all is good.

convenient location. day staff was great

The hotel was humid anywhere we went. Our air conditioning couldn't keep up. We were on the 2nd floor & our friends were on the 12 floor & had the same issues. Couldn't find an ice machine anywhere.

The rooms were also much smaller than expected. While there was an elevator to our floor, we still had to carry our luggage up another flight of stairs to reach our room. There was no elevator or ramp for that final section, which made getting luggage to the room very inconvenient. Another disappointment was that there wasn’t a real refrigerator in the room. Instead, there was only a very small cooler that could barely fit two bottled waters, making it unusable for keeping drinks or leftovers cold. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable and lacked several basic conveniences I expected. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Great location

Great location. Room, hotel, parking and staff were great. Bar food and drinks were good. Hen House across the road is great for breakfast.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable, but several essentials were missing or not replenished during our stay. We found ourselves without items like toilet paper, washcloths, a hairdryer, and coffee pods when we needed them. While the front desk staff was accommodating, they appeared to be overwhelmed.

Booked for a 4 person room and ended up in a room with one king sized bed, no roll away beds and the staff was pretty much useless.
-
I liked the custom drink upon arrival. They had a complimentary 24k champagne drink for the Bruno Mars concert. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Both reasonably priced and delicious!

Sprinkler was rusted, door hinges were rusted, lightings flickered, outlets sparked when plugging in a phone charger, the front door didn't open when you press the wheelchair button, and the disability transfer elevator right next to the stairs is horrible. There's not enough space to fit a wheel chair. I had to pick up the back just to get her to find inside. She also hurt her hand on the door because it's such a tight fit

A classic older building so it was very quiet. Large bed and bathroom; and the place is conveniently to may downtown activities.
