The Westin Minneapolis
About The Westin Minneapolis
This downtown Minneapolis hotel is 4 minutes from the Minneapolis Convention Center and features an on-site restaurant and indoor pool. Modern rooms are furnished with a 42-inch flat-screen cable TV. Coffee machines and a hair dryer are also included in each of the rooms. Originally built in 1941 as a bank, The Westin Minneapolis retains the building’s history with B.A.N.K. Restaurant and Lounge. Serving American cuisine all day, the restaurant has an open kitchen and oval bar. Free access to the gym and hot tub is provided to all hotel guests. Massage services are offered as well as a business center and an on-site gift shop. A refrigerator is standard in every spacious room at the Minneapolis Westin. Decorated with earth tones and wood furniture, all rooms include a seating area and laptop-compatible safety deposit box. The Mall of America, the country’s largest mall, and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport are just 12 miles away.

Reviews
-
The lobby is charming and the bar/restaurant beautiful. It’s in a great location. The views out the room windows are awful but the rooms are very nice
-
Great place!
-
It was dark and dank. No room service. It felt sketchy. The room was lovely as well as the restaurant but it just felt more like a nightclub vibe.

Beautiful place!!

Very nice people at the front desk.
-
This is a nice hotel in downtown Minneapolis. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, but the rest of the hotel is a bit above average.
-
The staff was friendly, the room and property is very nice and clean and I’d would definitely stay here again.

We will be back!!

Would stay again! Room felt luxury and staff could not be more friendly. Convenient Starbucks on second floor if you need a coffee for the drive home. Parking not on site but two convenient options across the street!
-
Clean central to everything upgraded room nice view helpful staff

We had a very good experience at this Westin property. Our double bed room was very large. The bathroom was great. We were especially impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, including Tracia (who went above-and-beyond in helping us to get print-outs of some important documents). Our only disappointments were in the tiny and rather useless refrigerator and TV remote control. Both were bizarrely small and not very useful.

Property needs to offer more complimentary services.
-
Close to the concert venue
-
Didn't stay there couldn't find it and where to park not many signs to find it downtown was way to crowded so I left to stay elsewhere
-
It says it has a sauna but it doesn't...
-
The room was clean and well maintained
-
Rooms are clean

The staff at Westin championed impeccable hospitality and made my stay a memorable one. The central location in the heart of the Nicollet Mall area and the proximity to the light rail stations are big plusses.
