Room was run down and not clean. Pool slides were not working. Pool paint and epoxy flooring were chipped and areas not clean. Hot tub was a horror story. I will never stay there again, the whole place needs renovation.

Liked the location. The rooms are fine. No place to eat in the hotel but the Badlands Restaurant and lounge was close by and really good.

It was a good stay, but our room smelt absolutely awful. It smelt like it had some water damage at one. I’ve stayed at this property multiple times and have always enjoyed our stay. The smell was hard to get past.

The water slides were not functioning so no problem 4 me or my partner… just felt bad for so many little kids who were unhappy & lookin forward to these great slides & all 3 are DOWN & I would double check so yr children are let down…

The room had aweful smell. Very very dirty in the room. Not clean and not kept up.

It was terrible. Bed bugs, theft, mold, housekeeping being done at 3am walking every up while vacuuming and being loud.

Exceptional

Very disappointed in the condition of the hotel. I visited it hotel 3 years ago and the pool was under maintenance and again when I visited again. Also was sleeping and a bug crawled across my leg in the middle of the night which it woke me up. Hotel is in need of serious renovations. Won’t be staying there anytime soon.

Although the staff were helpful and friendly, it doesn’t make up for the condition of the hotel. We would not stay here again.

The bad: The AC was awful in our room. Barely a breeze coming through the vent. Try sleeping when your room is 23 C. $20/day extra charge for parking I might as well have stayed at the James.

Disappointing

I have to give the honest parts of our stay--My daughter fell and got hurt in the shower. It is SO SLIPPERY, I almost did the same thing. They should look into mats or something. The rooms and hallways were very warm and it took most of the night to cool our room down for a comfortable sleeping temperature. The property could use some upgrades, the toilet seat was broken, the tile in the bathroom was cracked. The waterslides and main pool were closed, so the kiddie pool was all that was available. We also were a little frustrated with only two towels per room, as there were three of us. We were told we had to bring used ones down to get new ones.

I usually don’t write reviews. But this was worthy of one. The Sleep Inn is in need of major updates and basic maintenance. Needs better cleaning practices. Our room carpet was filthy and sticky. The bathroom shower curtain had visible mold on it. The air conditioner cover completely fell off. Blankets were ripped. Plus other things. Front desk was pleasant. Pool/Game room staff need training on how to look up from their phones. Only two upsides to Sleep Inn is that it is connected to the Dakota Square mall and its buffet breakfast.
