Hotel Lotus Kansas City Merriam

Breakfast was okay; scrambled eggs, warm sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy. Also pancakes and some fruit and cereal. We booked through hotels.com which showed the hotel was pet friendly and that a pet would be $35 per stay. When we checked in we were told that it was $35 per night, not per stay. Nice pool and hot tub.

I love the hot tub jacuzzi I got to get in and relax.

The hotel had very comfortable beds. I actually was able to sleep. The warm breakfast had many food options. We enjoyed use of the gym. The shower was very comfortable.

The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was really good-had pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy-gym was good.

The breakfast was good but the A/C was not.

Well-maintained property in a great location. Very walkable.

The breakfast one of the two mornings was cold. Also the pool says it is open at 7am but at 745am there where no towles out and the pool guys was thowing chemicals into the pool and had a hose in the hot tub.

Everything was very nice, exactly what I expected and very easy place to get to and move around for someone with a walking disability. Unfortunately someone had pulled the fire alarm at 3am for like 20 seconds and there was smoke in the lobby but nobody was exiting, it was a lil bit of a frightening experience with my girlfriend… all this to say we didn’t get compensated for our night being disturbed. A good stay but a lil bit ruined by that.

Great place to stay. Upon check in the staff was great. Breakfast was very good. They had no problem with late check out.

Everything was excellent except the hot tub it was very nasty idk when they suppose to clean it but pool was clean ill give it a 6-7, hot tub ill give it a 1 breakfast was a 10 , check out they came by an hour early too clean

When my friend and I arrived the hotel was out of power, so we couldn't check in. The staff was friendly. The power was restoredand my friend and I decided to go to dinner and check in later. The room was fine. It was clean and the beds were adequate. The place needs some updating. It was clean, but wear and tear are showing. I chose this due to location to Ikea and other shopping.

The orange negative I could say were the pillows were hard but other than that great day second year in a row and we will be back next year.

Nice gym and pool area. The AC, however, was a challenge. Said it was a relay problem and they came twice and the temp stayed at 69degrees and would not shut off.

While checking in the front desk staff argued that they over booked and a room wasn’t available anymore. Eventually they “figured” it out and got my room. Next day…. The hot tub had a weird smell after the staff struggled to get it working again due to it being inoperable when we arrived. On top of the funny smell it has this crazy foam, I immediately got out and stopped using the facility. Cheap price but this place may not be worth it. At least breakfast was okay

Amazing stay! Super clean great for my family of 4. I wish I got to use the pool, but we got to the hotel too late. Breakfast was amazing though. Best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel!
