Super 8 by Wyndham Missoula/Brooks Street

Bed broke so we were moved to another room where the air conditioner wasn’t working. They had no elevator so we had to go up 3 flights of stairs. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working so I couldn’t use my iPad. The floors in the hallway had carpet that were 40 years old and obviously worn. I’m sure I could go on but you get the idea.

Location, dog-friendly, price (we thought). No ice on site...broken ice machine. One staff person who seemed way too busy for the time of day. Back door, about 10 feet from our room was unlocked all night with plenty of smoking going on right by the back door.

For me, the best thing about this was having a Pizza Hut right next door. Also, having an area where I was able to park my U-Haul truck 🚒. The room for nice and will maintain plenty of channels on the TV. Not much in the way of a breakfast bar it was limited. But I was able to grab me a yogurt to go.

The first room they gave us smelled of urine so bad we could not stay in it. The second room wasn't as bad but it was not clean by any means. The the fan in the bathroom was falling out of the ceiling. The floors where EXTREMLY dirty

Everything at the hotel was decent. Great staff, useful amenities, and clean property. But there were a few things that could be worked on, like making sure all the lightbulbs work in both the main room and the bathroom, the mattress could be more comfortable than a spring mattress, and there was no clock in the room.

N/A Mattress was so broken down that we were inches off the floor. Don't take a shower if you are over 5'4". Creamer was on the counter in a bowl of melting ice. Small carton of half & half, whip cream, and cold foam. Cleaning staff needs to slow down and check windows, microwave, and wipe down the dresser. The ice machine was leaking and leaving a puddle in the corner (water damage). Mats were damaged... tripping hazard. I felt like I needed to shower again after leaving the facilities.

There was a jelly roll concert and they were slammed! The laundry was down and they had to take it to the laundry mat, the computer wasn't working so great... but the younger girl that was working front desk was trying her best & very kind. I appreciated even with some frustrated people and not so great circumstances, I believe she did a great job! I wish I could remember her name! It wasn't the cleanest room, but not horrible. Also, because of jelly roll (filling up the hotels) the price was high.

The motel is old and dirty. Night staff(checking in) was ok at best. Morning staff was excellent. Young man at desk was completely accommodating. Room carpet was very dirty. Bathroom outlet didn’t work-at all. We have stayed in a few dives, this one is definitely on the “never again “ list.

Shower was nice with a shower head in just the right height.
