When we arrived there was not a staff member present at the desk, there were signs posted they had stepped away and to call when we arrived. The signs stay up all the time, it was not a one time thing. I called three times and the phone at the desk rang. Then I walked around the back to a housekeeping room and knocked on the door to find the desk girl. She never took the phone with her to hear it ring. She didn’t greet us or try to be friendly, she had trouble getting the computer to work to locate our room. So after fumbling with that for a bit we finally got our room key. The place was like a ghost town. Completely empty and it hasn’t been cleaned or tidied for months. The last updates look like they were completed 30-40 years ago. This place looks charming and they are trying to preserve the historic character but this was BAD! The sign on the broken elevator was held up by duck tape that looked like it had been there for a year or so. Please see the pics before you choose to stay here. This place is old!!!!!

The hotel needs a lot of maintenance, it's in a pretty bad shape. If you are a light sleeper like me, this is not the hotel for you; you can hear everything outside your room. And most important the hotel smells really bad.

The property was old but well kept. It was very quaint and convenient to the wedding venue that I attended. I would definitely stay there again!

Nice and clean hotel. Definitely historic, so amenities are historic as well. I would stay again.

Elevated was not working and there was no ice machine. I had to ask someone to get ice for me. There was not a refrigerator or a microwave in the room. Overall it was a great place to stay. Beautiful courtyard.

First time staying and it didn't disappoint. I appreciate Ms. Amber helping me out and definitely be back!

Parking was easy. Check in was slow. Then the fun started. The key wouldn't open the lock to the room. So they had the housekeeper let us in while a key was being made. Ac could not keep up in that room so we asked to swap to a different room. The room they moved us to was good except the tv was very confusing and we couldn't get it to turn on.

Bed uncomfy. Everything else was fine.

If you want to feel the charm of Mobile and be right downtown, this is a great place to stay. The Inn was a good value and we appreciated the free parking and the helpful staff. The king bed was comfortable, the room good sized and the bathroom quite large with a big closet. It was a quick and easy walk to many bars, restaurants and stores. We loved the inner courtyard with the all plants, the fountain and pleasant seating. This is a historic place and there are places where it is noticeable that things have been repaired over the years, but it is quaint, well maintained, clean, and very friendly.

    Bed was really squeaky.

However the wifi went out after 10 minutes and would never reconnect. Also, several buttons on the remote didn't work. So if you're looking for convenience, go elsewhere.

Great overnight stay. No complaints. Close to everything downtown Mobile.

Everything seemed ok at check in. Key didnt work on the door so we had to get multiple keys . Then the ac didnt work and the room was humid and hot. The TV volume didnt work. We ended up leaving at 11pm out of discomfort. The "haunted hotel" theme was disappointing and the advertised bar was closed on a Friday night.
