bar is wonderful

Got to admit, had a pleasant stay. The hotel itself was OK. Nothing to complain about nor rave about aside the awesome view from the bar on 17th floor.

The body wash was great!

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this hotel. The rooms were incredibly dirty and had zero ventilation. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which causes all the moisture to get trapped inside the room. Because of this constant dampness, the floor mats are completely sticky to walk on, the entire room smells terrible, and the floor carpet stinks. To make matters worse, their customer service and business practices are incredibly dishonest. They have a tie-up with Expedia where they advertise that breakfast is included in the rate. However, upon arrival, the hotel staff flat-out refused to honor it, claiming it wasn’t in our booking. When we reached out to Expedia to sort it out, their customer service folks were equally rude and denied the advertised inclusion as well. Neither the hotel nor Expedia cares about customer service or honoring what they promise online. Save your money and stay somewhere else where the rooms are actually clean and management doesn't try to scam you out of basic amenities.

I liked that the staff were very helpful and accomodated our requests. The room was nice, good view of the bay and the downtown and we were able to watch the july 4th fireworks which was the reason for our stay at the hotel.

Staff was very welcoming but, despite the look of the facility from outside, the facility needs renovations from inside. The smell of the room was awful, almost triggered my asthma attack.

I was so excited to stay downtown but was very underwhelmed once we got there. The front desk host didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Both me and my husband felt like an inconvenience every time we needed to ask a question. There is an awful smell all over the lobby, especially near the elevators. Thankful that wasn’t the case in our room! Our room was comfy, the AC was amazing especially since we like to sleep cold! My only complaint about the room is my kid spilled some water on the floor when we first got there so we grabbed a bathroom towel to wipe it up and the towel was disgusting after just a few wipes. The floor obviously doesn’t get cleaned often. The beds were comfy and we slept well every night. It doesn’t get noise in the early mornings but we slept with white noise on that helped. The bathroom/shower was amazing with HOT water and great water pressure! Make sure you read through the description of the amenities throughly bc I misread and was very upset to learn that our room rate didn’t include breakfast and it would be $14 a person. We also lucked out with free parking on night one but the remainder of the nights we had to pay $12 a night to park in the parking garage across the street.

Their pool is outdoor only, & in DESPERATE need of maintenance. I could count 5 different coats of paint from how badly it was peeling - & their built-in-to-the-wall is slimy & unsafe. It's also unheated & on a rooftop, so more than a little chilly! Half the reason we booked this hotel were because of the supposedly included parking & the beautiful pool. Deceptive. Then there's the breakfast. It says on the site that it's included. *Surprise* That's also not the case. If you don't purchase tickets in advance with your room it is EIGHTEEN DOLLARS A PERSON! I did not have the extra $90 for a singular hotel breakfast, so we drove to WalMart & picked up some breakfast items there... another added expense that I had not planned for. Thank God we had the fridge & microwave, (which were both clean) - we stayed for 3 days. We would have been up the creek without a paddle. My son asked for an extra blanket since he & his brother were sharing a bed. He was told that they didn't have any. They gave him a sheet. :)

The overall politeness of the staff. There was a HUGE spider in my window on the 17th floor. A bunch of dead lady bugs in the window seal. Other than that it wasn’t bad at all.
-
Top floor was closed for maintenance which we didn’t know til we got there, it was the reason we booked that hotel so we were disappointed with that. The staff was great and helpful, room was mostly clean except bathroom could have been done better with getting other peoples hair up.

The rooms were very nice and clean, the bar was closed for reavation, lobby area needs slight upgrade, the staff was excellent, very friendly and also helpful on finding us other local bars to visit.
