Front desk accidentally refused a fedex package addressed to me. $$. Rooms do not have AC. Some road and airport noise.

Had the cops come to let us into our room. Will not be booking with booking.com Drug use suspected among the night shift employee, couldn’t get a key the entire stay. Invasion of privacy invasion of comfort, terrible experience.

Breakfast area right in front of the front desk, limited seats and barely you can grab anything. Main entrance was not clean, always dirts on the carpet. Highly priced. TV channels are limited and the TV has poor resolution. I would not recommend this place.

The room was clean and the towels were big enough for our family. The fridge was big enough to hold all our items and the seating area was great. It was very close to downtown Monterey and many food options in the surrounding area. The room air system was strange and we weren't able to really cool it down. The breakfast was not very good and there were very many options that weren't bread type of items. We ended up going out to eat someplace else. The room was very noisy with the upstairs. Someone above us kept moving furniture around and it was very loud!

Great location. Quiet place and beds were real comfortable. Room size is wonderful! I asked for certain room as previous stay and was told I got it. Upon arrival I was told room requested was not available. My expectations on that were let down.

Close enough to lot of places we wanted to visit Trash can next to the parking level elevator seemed to collect many flies. We let them know to move it away from the elevator since since flies were able to get in the elevator as it traveled up to different floors. Also, no AC in rooms made it a bid uncomfortable.

There is no air conditioning.

Ask for room in back. The room in front VERY noisy. Breakfast okay but are a few tables in lobby which annoying with people checking out

Well, you can see that our reservations were for 2 nights and you charged me Around $ 480.00 for 2 nights. When we got there, the next morning we went out for breakfast and then on to Carmel. When we got back, we were locked out of our room. I went to the front deck and I was told that Booking.com had on reserved the room for 1 night. and I would need to pay the Hotel another night's stay at $ 380.00 Now that is $ 860.00 for two nights. That funny, as the Hotels web site advertises that stay at $ 180.00 per night. So, my anger is with Booking.com not the Hotel, as I have stayed at this Hotel for over 12 years while working in the Monterey area. We will probably never use Booking.com unless they correct this mistake and reimburse us.

My family and I booked a last minute trip to Monterey and decided to stay here since we had stayed here last time and the check in and out process is super easy. We loved how accommodating the staff were and how clean the room was. We also enjoyed the breakfast options! Will definitely stay here again next time.

Enjoyed the free continental breakfast in the morning, saves time during the morning of having to go out and get breakfast. Coffee/tea available 24hrs.

The room was big, and the bed was comfortable. I didn’t like that the room didn’t have air conditioning.

Some traffic noise in summer weather.
