Red Roof Inn & Suites Monterey

Clean Room with a balcony and fireplace. Use both of them to full benefit. Close to many shopping and eating places. Walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to friends. Came especially for the County Fair which was walking distance from Red Roof. No parking hassle. Would book again.

Loved the balcony Dirty floors dirty tables dirty spa tub broken amenities such as fire place didn't work water pressure was lowin shower only hot for. 5 minutes after that it was barley Luke warm

Really rough motel in a rundown area. We booked 4 nights but only stayed one night. Then we changed to a nicer hotel and area. Super disappointed

We came in with a 31' trailer and we were nervous about leaving it unattended. they did have accomodations for the trailer. We asked if we could change rooms to be next to it and it was vacant. the lady at the front said, Yes they would be happy to move us. She came back shortly after stating we could not have it as it was reserved 9same exact room layout) we had 500k worth of trailer, bikes and vehicle and we wanted to keep an eye on it out of the window due to the area. We moved closer to Carmel to a lovely place. The did refund the remaining days to us.

There were ants in the bed as well in the jacuzzi tub.

The staff was so friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The only downside was that coffee was not available in the lobby until after 8 o'clock most mornings.

The room was exactly the same as on the website. Actually better than I anticipate. It was clean and well maintained. Parking was very good. The location was great. It was close to everything. The staff was very friendly especially the young lady who checked me in. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly. We also missed check in time but they still managed to make arrangements for us which was really great. The room was everything you’d really need. The room was dated which is fine for the value for money. I personally didn’t like the feel to the place, it felt a bit eerie and I did question safety at points.

Room was large and had a nice outdoor area Floors were dirty, WiFi never worked the entire 3 days. Ants everywhere no matter what we did.
